Actually the problem is created by the consumers. Too lazy to keep the bags in the car and reuse them. Too lazy to go shopping themselves. In most parts of the world, people have been and continue to shop with reusable bags. What is the big deal about going to a store in person? What is the big deal about bringing your bags to the store? The ban would work fine if people actually cared and cooperated.
Right, if rather do my own research. I doubt using plastic is better. (By research-- i meaning reading medical articles. 🤣 sounding like I was about to bust out some lab equipment)
