Just thought I'd add my measurements to help anyone else as this is a great video... All in cm, for 1 cracker: Plastic ends 5 x 14.8/15.6 Plastic middles 10.8 x 14.8/15.6 (Overlap both 0.8cm) Fabric 46 x 16.5/17.2 (with .7 seam allowance) I found these work perfectly fiction wise with a bang ! You do have to wrap the ends of bangs through cardboard to get them to not slip out.
Just thought I'd add. The tighter the fit of plastic into the fabric the better. Secure the plastic really really well with sellotape or whatever. Glad this has helped people!
Thank you - can I just ask what thicknessweight of mylar to use? It seems to come in 125, 190 or 250 microns & I'm not sure which to buy, having never used it before? Many thanks.
@@elizabethj5294 I'd go for the thickest I think. I used very good quality laminated sheets. Ensure you Sellotape it really securely so it doesn't pop open.
They come apart easily until you add a bang. Once you add a bang the friction is great, as long as you've knotted the end of the bang so it doesn't slip out.
