i notice that kendall danced so much better when she’s dancing with other people, as much as she loved solos i feel like she felt more comfortable when she danced with her best friends
From what I know, it was more that they didn’t want the girls wearing a $300 costume, they would wear bits and pieces of what they had already. The rule was mostly for Jill tbh
@@jerreexoxoxo31404 no it was a brand new custom costume… Jill did not change anything from it. The contrasts the other girls who wore reused costumes such as Kenzie, Nia, or Brooke, who added rhinestones and other embellishments to the costume
Paige's and Maddie's costumes were remade from old customizes. They weren't done from scratch, but they did make new costumes out of them. Melissa re-made Maddie's bottoms and Kelly cropped Paige's top and added fabric to the shorts.
@@jerreexoxoxo31404 as I said they weren’t done from scratch. The original comment is about Christi being the only one who made her costume as opposed to using old ALDC costumes. I’m saying Kelly and Melissa partially made new versions of the old costumes.
Episode 6 was such a good idea but most of the moms misunderstood. The aim of sourcing your own costumes was to prove that you don’t need expensive custom costumes to win, you can recycle cheaper/old pieces and still look good. Several of the kids were just wearing old costumes, which defeated the point. Some of them wore modified old costumes, which was kind of on theme. They’re almost unrecognisable and look like a new costume with only small amounts of work. Christi went above and beyond and spent hours making a homemade custom costume. It looked beautiful, but again kind of defeated the point. Chloe still danced in a beautiful custom costume.
A dance at the Aldc reused Mackenzie’s bigger isn’t better costume in 2014 I be also Mackenzie’s tutu on her head was reused from the lions sleep tonight and Brooke’s unknown dance “snowflake “ was a costume reused form the dance snowflake
I know they only performed the version on the show at that competition as the music was from Jingle Punks, one of the music production libraries that they used because of the show. Judging by the results CADC posted, the 2010 version of "Ode To A Clown" was competed at Dance Masters of Ohio, Applause Talent, KAR, Headliners, and Nexstar!
Christi even confirmed on Clara’s channel that don’t catch me and thank you for the music had the same costume and Christi just removed the music notes
We had Nina’s page before I uploaded it? I didn’t even know that 😂 but I remember being so shook to see Chloe reused Nina’s costume lol Also the almost 2 minute section on ep6 is MAD work lol
I don't know the original person who posted the photo with that big "Is that Chloe?" in the center of the picture, but rare._aldc/Big Shot found it awhile ago!
