How would you compare these to the Astars SMX-1? They are a bit more expensive, is it worth it?

I actually had the SMX-1 before these and the Metric are better in a few ways: 1 they are "longer" so they cover more of the wrist, build quality and materials seem better, and to me they were better feeling out of the box in terms of break in, the SMX-1 took a while and hurt my hands for the first while. Hope that helps, but yeah id def say worth the money.

Yeah im a bit OCD when it comes to my garage space. That is actually my old garage in the house I was renting so couldn't do much with it, in my new house (owned) I was actually able to do things so it looks even better. I have been wanting to do a tour video but honestly too many other videos right now on the schedule, maybe when riding season dies down and I have some more free time I'll make one. Thanks for watching and letting me know.

Would you recommend these for urban/summer riding, I dont think I need a full on gauntlet glove for the riding that i do.

Yes totally. They flow air really well and are great gloves. I wear them when it's hot and when im just cruising around locally, but with that said whenever it's not super hot I always wear my Apex gloves from REV'IT! as they are a full gauntlet and I want the extra protection.
