"...I, myself, bought the Roy Clark Big Note Songbook" lol, that is one of the funniest lines I've heard in a long time. I can't stop giggling at that.
This is what a true Bluesman sounds like...can 'FEEL' it man...I've learned a lot by watching him over the years...the guy is just a class act. Love it when he plays...love it.
A real HAPPY 66th Birthday to the Rev. Robert Jones and really ALL the best to him (2022-1002) & helluva Thanks for keeping the Blues Tradition alive ...
My problem is not letting it go...I've found that by my lonesome I do much better , looser , edgy unbalanced .....guess that may be the correct way to feel less tied up...!...Just rambling , man...........these cat's have NO problem in that area .
Robert Johnson actually had a verse about praying and the song was about "Sundown Laws" where blacks were not allowed to be out after sundown, but it was twisted to say the Johnson sold his soul to the Devil. Make your own conclusions about the reason for the change.
Reverend Jones PROVES you can be a HEAVEN of a MARVELOUS BLUES GUITAR/VOCAL without selling your soul to the devil. HALLELHUYAHHH for that discovery and the discovery of this BLESSED WONDERFUL BLACK MAN, PASTOR, and TOOL of THE LORD ABOVE!!!!!!!!!!!
