People have been asking what models I have to replicate into the Reverend's original models. So I thought I'd do this showcase to show what models I have replicated and what ones are in line for replicating. What you see are most of the models I have replicated, but there are others I'd like to replicate. But that will have to wait another time.

13:12 This must be what Henry used to use! In the episode "Coal," in one of the closeups, you can see blue livery underneath Henry's tender paint showing through.

are you saying gauge 1 models are 00 gauge?

gauge 1 models are the models used in the show oo gauge models are the ones in this video the shot in "coal" was a large scale model I'm not sure of its gauge but its the largest gauge for a prop in the show onemanarmy you're mistaking the large scale models with the oo gauge models in the video. isaiah you are mistaking gauge 1 with oo.

Well done! These models are fantastic. Or, in some cases, going to be. Although they're all great, I do like the Stepney and the First Thomas a wee bit better than the others. I do hope you'll do Douglas nonetheless.

He had some the models before the railway series was even made. A lot of the models were used for drawing references.

I have been working on the Rev W Awdrys model of James as well but before I start to modify it I need to re-solder some of the wires . So far the body is a tri-ang 3F but sadly there is a crack going down the cab the tender is a white metal kit as it more detailed than the tri-ang one and was cheeper the chassie has got some pick ups taken from a tri-ang Brittania . I hope you have fun trying to reprecate the Rev Awdrys models ! :)

A while back, I ordered a princess class to make Gordon. The loco has arrived but I’m waiting for my order for the correct chassis and 3f tender. I’m gonna build Gordon too. Just let me know when your build begins and I’ll be right behind you. -Mixtape F035

i have a complete Stewart Reidpath body (with the funnel) sat here doing nothing. I bought it, a while ago, out of curiosity. I've no idea of what it's supposed to be a model of, most likely a Southern Railways 0-6-0T of some description. I did plan to make a chassis for it, but too many other incomplete projects to deal with. If you want it for your original Thomas project, you can have it.

Try using a Bachmann gandy dancer chassis for smaller models.

From eBay. I had to look very carefully for them incase I should ever find one. So far I've two which is enough for me.

What class is awdry first model for Thomas

Well Thomas' model is of a freelance tank engine design from Stewart Reidpath, though it loosely resembles a Jinty but has more resemblance to a Furness Railway G5.

Talk of model engine replicas, I have a Disneyland Train replica of my own: Electrotren Foreign Tank Engine Molly and two USA Amusement Park carriages. Hope you will achieve your goal.

I used Humbrol 109 WW1 Blue for both Thomas and Edward.

@@WhitehouseFilms yeah gauge 1 is expensive. I worked for a real working railway here in America called Norfolk Southern Transportation. I was the freight car master. we use air brakes here instead of vacuum brakes. also we use couplers not chain links. you can check out my real world pictures of American Railways at work on Flickr if you search Benjamin Lahrman.

There is or was a spare Thomas made out of a jinty?? I never knew that! I thought the first spare model is the e2

No, the E2 model came during the early 80's when Hornby brought it out. The Jinty came around the late 60's when the MrkII layout of Ffarquhar was made. Till then the Stewart Reidpath model took the role of Thomas.

17:28. I haven't made his model yet. I want to make both his 1st and 2nd models. the one you see in the video is what will become his MrkII model. The 1st one I'm still trying to work out.

ATM Im still trying to work out what shade of green the original Henry was in using reference photos of the real thing. Its had Humbrol paint and Mr Hobby paint, but I might stick with Humbrol once Ive found the right shade of green.
