The actress invited it by making it racial before the series even aired. She claimed to be the first black Star Wars characters and was pre-emptively calling people racist before they even saw the show.
What I love about Reva is her grit. She faces all her opponents fiercely, full tilt at her adversaries. She didn’t always win, but she DID always push on. Even after Vader and GI thought she was done for. Probably one of the toughest characters to ever grace the Star Wars cast. Y’all can say what you will about the writing. Moses Ingram makes this character hard to forget. Even to the people who dislike her character.

I feel like the major problem with reva was that she felt like 2 characters mixed together. The irredeemable and cruel one and the sympathetic and remorseful one. She's like a fusion of the second and ninth sisters from jedi fallen order. The problem is that those 2 personalities heavily conflict with each other and at times it ends up making reva pretty irredeemable when we're supposed to feel sorry for her.

i understand most people didnt like reva and i can understand that. her personality was a little messy however in context i think it actually works. she desperately wants kenobi so she can have revenge on him not stopping anakin (and keep in mind she most likely didnt know about kenobi's assignment on utapau.) while also wanting revenge on vader for killing her friends. i do agree that her dual survivals is a bit more plot armour than she should need. although im here for anything to make canon inquisitors crazy powerful like there legends counterparts. overall i really enjoyed reva and i really hope we see her again. i feel she has unfinished business with the grand inquisitor so if she does get her own show (which was rumoured when the obi-wan show was releasing) the grand inquisitor has to be the overarching villain. bringing in vader doesn't seem right especially after her redemption. having the grand inquisitor come in and be just as bossish as vader was in her duel with reva would really help not just the grand inquisitors character in power and people taking inquisitors seriously but also show how outclassed reva was. whether it leads to reva's death or not i just want her character to return. i feel she has so much potential and who knows she may appear in an animated show with baylan and shin. that would be super interesting to see them interact. and if marrok is a nightsister creation (i personally dont believe there was any nightsister magick involved but was instead just a filar-nitzan) we could see him fight against baylan, shin and reva
No to my mind, at least. Clone Wars was fine (a "footnote", as Lucas called it), but nowhere near as good as episodes 1-6. There were good things in it, but silly stuff (like resurrecting Darth Maul) as well. Mandalorian was little more than a fanservice orgy, and Rogue One was a flat-out bad movie (second worst of the franchise behind The Force Awakens).
If she does, she might be the first Sith-turned Jedi to carry on living. Most Sith that defect immediately die as Jedi, such as Asajj Ventress and Darth Vader himself.
I don’t care what anyone else reva is a good Star Wars villain she is everything kylo ren should have been she’s actually threatening and intimidating she has a compelling backstory even though when you think it does not make sense but that besides the point she knows how to put Her enemies into a corner and the best part is unlike kylo ren she does all of this without screaming her head off

If you compare her with Rey lol yes maybe if you want, but if for you Rey represents Star Wars, well you should work for Disney and make sh*t like this character.
I'm not sure why she got all this hate. I didn't mind reva. She was pretty cool. There were definitely some issues with obi-wan. Reva wasn't one of them.

Her story made no sense.she saw her peers as a child get killed so killing another chid is her anwser to her problems.why was she on the show.i can think of one reason diversity.i wanted to see the grand inquistor not reva the dubmest character in starwars and color has nothing to do with it.mace was awsome cause his character made sense.
I need to be perfectly clear. When this show’s first two episodes came out, I didn’t like Reva mostly because I felt that she was forced into the show due to Kathleen Kennedy’s influence on Star Wars. But I never said anything negative about the actress because I think her performance was good. In episode 2, when Reva stabbed the Grand Inquisitor, that really made me hate her so much because I thought that the show would have her replace a well established character that fans really love. And what also annoyed me is that even when Darth Vader stabbed her the second time, she still didn’t die and the reason it annoyed me was because I felt that they kept Reva around for the sake of female empowerment. But like I said before, I have nothing against the actress since I’m sure she did her best and if Reva’s character got better as the show continued, then I would have never had any problems with her anymore. Now just because I’m talking about the fact that I didn’t like Reva, that doesn’t mean I’m racist. It just means that I didn’t like Reva because she wasn’t a very good character to me.
Thanks for that, it really sucks people hate on her for being black alone; a lot of us genuinely see other races as our literal family so it hurts but it’s life. I like her character and think her and Vader had one of the best lightsaber battles depicted in the franchise.
