Kyle is celebrating on the Country Club patio. Reva turns him around to ask why he thinks he can get away with everything. He accuses Reva of betraying him by appearing in the tv interview and she says that HB betrayed her as she didn't know what was going to happen. They argue and Reva says Kyle should start working with the Lewises so they can see the side of him she saw working at the Yoders barn. Kyle says he learned from the Yoders to speak from the heart and Reva says he must act from his heart too. Reva cries and leans on Kyle but then she backs up and tells him not to comfort her. She pleads with Kyle to understand the pain the Lewis family will feel if he wipes out the company in the morning and goes to leave. Kyle calls out and asks her if she really didn't know about the TV interview and she shakes her head no and leaves. Kyle thinks she's come back, but it's Miss Sally who overheard the conversation and thinks Reva is right. Inside, Reva tells HB she thought she could get through to Kyle. As they're leaving, Kyle interrupts to say that he's not going to close Lewis Oil after all and tells Reva not to ask him why.
