It’s actually sad for me since I think that Revali is pushing himself too far for the sake of expectations. He chose to be a hero and worked hard so that he could represent and protect the rito to make sure that they can inspire to be strong too. Most rito there are either travellers or merchants, the rito warriors are their only line of defence, he did allowed the other rito to use his flight range after all, (in his dlc 2 diary he stated that the elder gave him this flight range). What’s more is that the reason he despises Link is because he thinks that he didn’t work hard and was just given that title, the same goes for the rest of the champions. I mean, Daruk and Urbosa are strong yeah but Urbosa was a Gerudo chief, Daruk basically inherited his shielding powers, Mipha’s a princess and Link is the chosen hero. Revali is just a normal average rito, so he feels that he needs to work harder to live up to the expectations. In his diary at the DLC 2, he stated how insecure he is and how he respects Zelda cuz he knows that she’s working very hard even though she’s a princess. He had to put up an arrogant face to show no weakness, heck there’s even a theory that Revali is *depressed* by BrandonKong on Devientart. He works himself to go beyond his limits not caring if he gets hurt on the way. If he had that mindset for a while even before trying to perfect his gale then how many times had he been hurting himself and dismissing it as nothing? I personally love Revali and I guess from his complex character I can relate to him in some way. What’d you think about our bird friend?
This comment that you put so much work on deserves more likes. Which is why I liked it. Revali is my favorite to. I thought I was the only one who actually knew what he actually felt like and why he seems so different from the other champions.
the best answer, and I'll support you in the best way, Daruk represents the power of an individual in the face of danger, Urbosa the power of a people for their well-being, Mipha the wisdom in calm, and Zelda the wisdom in war, Revali represents the courage to lead your heart in defense of others, Link the courage to know how to act to defend others.
Most likely because all the stories of the Champions are tragedies, but mostly Mipha and Revali as they had so much ahead of them but lost it all to Ganon.
Some people believe Revali is annoying and jealous of Link for not being the one to destroy Ganon, but really, I think he is lonely. He has no friends really, and in the DLC when you defeat wind blight again just for fun sometimes, he will think about Rito village. Not one specific person. Urbosa talked about Zelda. Mipha about Link. Daruk also about Link and Yunobo. Revali didnt have a friend, and its sad that way. He is trying his hardest, and he didn’t deserve to die. None of them did.
Honestly, Revali is my favorite champion. People ask my why and I actually don't know. Maybe its because he tries so hard to be the best and in the process pushes other down? I can somewhat relate to him. I also like him because he's a bird...
Hes my favorite champion too. I like him because hes brave, witty, and able to say anything that is on his mind. (hes also very caring although he doesn't show it).
He is my favorite champion too. He is a complex and multidimensional character, his arrogance hide his insecurities. He knew that he wasn’t strong enough to defeat link but all he want is to protect Hyrule, and his people. He train to obtain his power, he didn’t inheritate his power, or use magic. He is not related to nobility, even some of his detractors don’t like his behavior i would say that his attitude makes the character interesting.
FINALLY Someone gets Revali isn't Mr. Succ! He's actually a _killer_ rival character! I wish we could interact with him more. Hopefully DLC pack 3 will let us meet the Champions and actually talk to them like you would with any other NPC.
it's funny how he says this line just in the english version. I'm from germany and I was very confused, when he said this in a Multilanguage Video... in every other version he just laughs :'D
I must say this is quite the masterpiece in cover techniques, but let's not pardon me for being so blunt. Let's not forget the fact that you are the most skilled remix of all the other. yet despite these truths, I've been tapped to just like this video. It's just assinine. So i subbed.
As amazing and great as Revali is, he would only choose the best of the best to play for him. Though he would never admit it, he would say this is his favorite for sure. But honestly, this is amazing!
This masterpiece reminds me of all of the memories with my brother. We are 7 years apart yet so close. He would spend as much time with me as possible. He would comfort me when I am sad and annoy the living crap out of me. He is currently across the sea making it so we can only email. This song and all of the *The Legend of Zelda* games will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for reminding me of all the good times I've had with my brother by creating this.
Revali is the most underated of the champions with mipha and urbosa (AKA, urMOM eggs dee kill me) getting all the attention, it pains me to see daruk get not enough attention, being my favorite champion, but revali is so underated even though he is pretty cool, being my #2 champion, seeing him and his actions give me Gary vibes from playing pokemon red. save revali!
I thought Revali was an ass when I watched the memories, but the divine beast cutscene and the Champions Ballad cutscene made me rethink him and he’s definitely my favorite now.
Mipha has always been my favourite champion, but you're right, Revali is way underrated and he is very close to overtaking Mipha as my favourite. There's a really deep story to be thought about under his arrogant shell and I hope Nintendo explores this more in future games
This is so GOOD. You really outdid yourself on this one, I think. It keeps the original melodies intact while expanding on them, even better than your rendition of Mipha's theme did.
Five years later and I'm spilling tears across my schoolwork listening to this soundtrack and thinking of the joy this game has brought me. Thank you for this 😭😭
I really think it would be great for a dance, probably something light and airy with folk dance influence? bsjxbksjxb and an a-line dress with lace patterns???? 😭😭😭😍😍😍
One more for the winning streak No rest until I succeed Sweet victory awaiting me So fly, Revali Rise in the gale, gliding for miles Carried by the Breath of the Wild No time to rest, l am the best Time to make everyone see One more for the winning streak No rest until I succeed I'm so close to mastery So fly, Revali (Spread your wings and start to soar!) (Heights you've never dared before!) (Fight the fight and get the glory!) (Our Hero we adore!) One more for the winning streak (Spread your wings and start to soar!) No rest until I succeed (Heights you've never dared before!) Sweet victory awaiting me (Fight the fight and get the glory!) So fly, Revali (Our Hero we adore!) Who is this Hero? Why does he dare? A soft-hearted knight with a stony-faced stare! Everything I have done, more than a champion I am the king of the air He cannot stack up! So why am I backup? And why doesn't he care? No time to rest, I am the best Time to make everyone see One more for the winning streak No rest until I succeed I'm so close to mastery So fly, Revali One more for the winning streak (Spread your wings and start to soar!) No rest until I succeed (Heights you've never dared before!) Sweet victory awaiting me (Fight the fight and get the glory!) So fly, Revali (Our Hero we adore!) If this is my winning streak If this is how you remember me Dare the sky, one day you'll succeed So dare and learn to fly Revali
Idk why but.... This song manages to let me relax and forget about how everyone bullies me, it pushes away all the darkness and it makes my emotions go like "REVALI'S GALE"
Ah. Immense nostalgia now. I can't, I almost can't listen it's kind of painful... So sweet though. Memories of friends, marching band, it all comes back. I used to listen to this on the way to our competitions. I was obsessed with the Legend of Zelda in 7th grade. That year was the best year I'd probably ever had, and I failed to realize it until it was gone. It was a good time, and upon listening to this, I remember just how much I did enjoy it. It seems like I'm always faced with stress now but that doesn't stop me from doing my best to enjoy life still. I know it wasn't all cupcakes and rainbows, and that's unrealistic, but... It was nice. I liked it, and loved it when I couldn't have it no more. I have hope that one day I can remember and enjoy days like those once again.
3 years old and still very able to make my heart ache. So very well done, this is definitely a rendition so lovely even Revali would admit it's greatness. Reluctantly, of course.
Nothing can describe how unbelievably calm this song makes me feel. You made an already amazing song into something perfect. The only way to improve this is by putting it in the game itself. Great work! You've gained yourself another subscriber!
Have you noticed when revali has an audience he tends to do better... Like for example In his training over at the flight range (In the champions ballad DLC) He's seen to be failing But shortly after when Princess zelda arrives he struggles once and pushes himself to his limits to make a better first impression with showing off Ravioli's Gale. Take it as when he fights windblight ganon in breath of the wild He perishes although when he fights windblight ganon with company in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity He suceeds not JUST because the others were doing damage to windblight but you can see the cutscene when revali gets a scratch as he's fighting alone in age of calamity Revali purposely did better with an audience whilst fighting windblight. The truth is Revali's personality is not like this. He is just mean towards link because revali hoped towards being the hero of hyrule he trained so much 24/7 Yet this random ass hylian comes raids his territory Kills his people and claims to be the one and only hero of hyrule with nothing to prove himself with. Revali was only chosen as a "pilot" He wanted to do more so that is why revali was so keen on defeating link let alone his allies.
I feel like there's a fort of sad happiness or nostalgia tune in every champion's theme, as if it represented the fact that they're all dead and there's nothing you can do but avenge them and beat the divine beast.
When I first played, i became way to attached to the characters, even though I knew they were dead. So now, every time I hear their themes, I feel like I knew them personally. So I'll just sit here with tears streaming down my face ;_______;
It always brought me tears... Tears of happiness when meeting the spirits of the champions and watching the momories. Just so touching, this song reminds me of these memories now, absolutely amazing and beautiful❤️
People: whos your favourite champion? Me: Revali Their mind: Ugh, revali Them: Other then revali Me: REVALI them: OTHER THEN REVALI Me: fine mipha them: why not Urbose Me: SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMM
before in 2017/19 couldn't stop listening to revali' theme, is my favourite one and my fav champion, its sad that RU-vid didnt show me this before but now im glad i listened to this, thanks for this!!
After all these years I simply must admit the truth, even without the power of flight, Link made his way to this divine beast and accomplished something even I could not- Revali Even with Tears of the Kingdom out, these characters from a six year old game still makes me emotional
feeling much more engaged by only listening to the soundtrack, than by actually playing the game. i wish it would have caught me more than it did. great music thumbs up for that dear composer, thank you
Alexis Melis s'il faut je lui donnerait tous les cookies du monde (for Vetrom : He wants to give you some cookies for congrats all your beautiful remixes)
This song is beautiful to just listen to and it's such a strong theme for Revali, showing his determination and pride. I think it's just because of the accordion, but this sounds like something straight out of Wind Waker.
