Hey guys! Sorry if the audio is a bit botched for this video. I had been experiencing issues with my recording setup which took me a while to fix. In the end reseting my Mic, OBS and Premiere managed to fix things for future videos. I edited the audio for this video to get it as clear as possible but there are some weird audio bumps here and there. I hope you can all still enjoy the video!
@@ijudgeanime very neat video do you think you could do bill cipher vs Dragon ball verse I think this character is a worthy of recognition and be the one to compare against the verse.
Gear Fifth is best classified as Subjective Reality. Luffy can influence reality around him to an extent via his imagination. Technically that’s reality manipulation but on the extreme low side.
@@Creati-01 Yes! Gear 5th is just his awakened form and its canon that when in this form he can freely do what he wants with the only limit being his imagination, in fact every gear before 5th is luffy slowly awakening his fruit more and more by being more imaginitive with his powers, if he truly thinks he can do it, than he can while in gear 5th, and the fact he turns the environment around him into rubber means that he can turn his opponents into rubber and looney tunes style wallop them for example luffy uses a cape or his coat and turns it into rubber to stretch into a giant sack and traps the opponent inside as he whails it around with them inside, basically he could wallop you until he runs out of stamina since 5th gear uses up all his stamina quickly
@@ijudgeanimereally Napa beats gear 5 you're you crazy do you realize that Goku just nearly decimated Napa what the fuck is Napa going to do against Luffy
I don't know much about One Piece but from what i could find, Luffy is about island lvl. If that's really the case, i don't see him beating even demon king Piccolo, let alone anyone in Z.
As someone who watches One Piece, I can definitely say he defeats Piccolo and maybe Raditz, and MAAAAAYBE even Nappa but Vegeta would demolish him with 0 effort
The argument for luffy being able to warp reality comes from various things it’s not simply cap. Part of it is oda stated that in gear 5 luffy is the most free not bound by anything. Another point is he seems to produce things out of thin air sometimes the thing that is always cited for this is the goggles he pulls out of nowhere with the batting scene with kaido. The final piece is the fact that the art style in the anime and manga change to more resemble old cartoons with cartoon physics. Things like peoples eyes popping out of their head detached from their skull and such. Which could mean that luffy isn’t even bound my his medium anymore and has cartoon physics powers. But that’s dependent on how oda spins it. The one things that power scalers tend to leave out is gear 5 takes a huge amount of stamina and luffy can only stay in it for a certain amount of time before he needs to eat and recharge. I would argue that luffy in gear 5 can pretty handily defeat nappa and will have a bit more trouble with vegeta but will be hard stopped at the frieza saga. Mainly because I don’t see luffy beating a planet destroyer. And yes vegeta in the sayian saga does not achieve planet destroyer quite yet despite the bug planet filler that’s as said filler.
Video idea: How far would SpongeBob get in Dragon Ball? (Not including 4th wall breaks or episodes like "The String"; Also you should read the spongebob comics and play some of the games for more of spongebob's potential)
Luffy has low level reality warping stated by oda in road to laugh tale, has future vision up to five seconds, durability negation, blunt force negation so i say he goes around freeze saga and losses to a death beam.
something to note about haki you may not have known: luffy has king's conqueror's haki which is an even rarer form of conqueror's haki that is only attributed to individuals who have the willpower and potential to become kings in the world, it has a distinctly different color from regular conqueror's in that each King's Conquerer's haki energy color is unique to them while regular Conqueror's all share the same energy color. It is also MUCH stronger than regular conqueror's because King's can overpower standard conqueror's and if two King's haki clash its basically unstoppable force meets immovable object. afaik the only other people who I know have King's Conqueror's is Shanks, Blackbeard, Kaido, and Katakuri
it depends if luffy dropped in right before start of fight then game over. but luffy has been showen ability to evolve mid fights, along with learn via training. if that was the cause then he could train and learn kai i could see him make it into super
The point of these is the character’s current strength against the dragon ball verse. No help at all. But if he learned kaio-Ken on top of gear 5 he could defo beat the saiyans, though frieza could be a stretch without allies bc no zenkais
I forgot guru’s potential unlock. With that he could beat frieza, and maybe the androids if trunks comes to warn him. For buu, get ultimate and stomp dabura. Then go to beerus’s planet and hope that god ki + ultimate + gear 5 + kaioken is enough for golden frieza and hit. Luffy black would then appear but just kill him immediately. If luffy gets ultra instinct he can solo the tournament of power and any remaining threats as well
I can possibly see Luffy have a 50/50 with Nappa simply because of Nappa's short temper and Luffy's extra annoying nature in gear 5. It absolutely wouldnt be a win of strength, Nappa clears that 10 fold, but Luffy might be weird enough to lure Nappa into making mistakes that could cost him the fight. NONE of that however would work on Vegeta. Luffy's trials stop there lol.
Luffy can make objects out of thin air so that classifies as reality warping. And he destroy cities with a punch in lower gears.. He split Dressrosa in half in a much weaker version and his Bajarang gun is the size of island Onigashima...
@@crimsonhunter7598 Fair but vegete was able to kick Buu's ass as a litteral piece if candy. I doubt being folded would hinder anyone much. They could yeet themselves like a boomerand and fire energy waves willy nilly. Which does seem very funny to me
Lol did Kaioken or Gear 2 come out first? Most definitely Kaioken came first. The dragonball manga and anime both finished a year before One Piece’s manga even started.
@@ijudgeanime he’s a dc character with the ability to change his shape, mass, stretch, grow, and has immortality. Character is considered a Superman level threat
@@ijudgeanime I didn't meant to say that you haven't. What I meant was that I wanted to break our current losing streak with a W. So I suggested two characters that might do it.
dragonball finished b4 onepiece started... so to say you're not sure if kaioken or gear second came first just shows how seriously we should take anything you say in the video...
dbz manga ended in 2006 and one piece manga started in 1997 tho. But im so sorry for not being able to recall every date in the world in the spur of the moment 😭 I shall commit sudoku immediatly
All I got to say is this boy I say boy happy May the fourth Star Wars Day Ty boy I say boy y'all better get out there and celebrate May the force be with you all of Star Wars Day PS all I got to say is this y'all got to be crazy y'all think Luffy or should I say wano Luffy wouldn't get far in Dragon Ball Luffy using bounce man Snake Man a gear 5 the most broken power of all time would definitely get him real far in the world of Dragon Ball
To be fair, and I could be wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure that the creator of One Piece has been very open about the fact that Dragon Ball was a HUGE influence on his work (as has basically every other modern Mangaka that has talked on the subject.).
I still don't see Luffy getting past King Piccolo. One Piece characters tend to have creative powers with interesting usages, not necessarily huge shear power. Nobody in One Piece is going to be blowing up the moon, which King Piccolo is fully capable of with ease. In addition to that, we see that post time skip One Piece characters are hitting that level of being able to react to light, while Goku was reacting to light since the Red Ribbon saga, so speed wise King Piccolo is at least hitting comparable levels, if not faster.
@@ijudgeanime I suppose where I'm stuck (as far as reasoning is concerned), is that I don't see how Luffy can actually hurt someone like King Piccolo. Don't get me wrong, his powers, especially in Gear 5th, would be obnoxious to deal with, but what would he be able to do to actually hurt Piccolo? On the other hand, even through all the annoying abilities Luffy has access to, all it would take is one attack connecting, and Luffy is out. And thats assuming that Piccolo doesn't just get pissed and blow the entire island to hell, and take Luffy with it.
Fair take honestly. I tend to wank the characters to the limit but I can definetly see the argument why Tien would assblast luffy and the entire one piece verse
