Thanks John, nice one. I have just received my Midnight Red, which fitted fine in my M Frame MkII with no problem. The Iridium green however was loose in my M Frame MkI. Easy to fix. Place the frame, just the lens mount part in 70c or 158f of hot water for 30 seconds. Apply gentle pressure to open the arms a little, this slightly bends the frame. Hold this position and put under the cold water tap to cool. Replace the lens and enjoy that nice satisfying click as the lens is now held as firmly as was intended. I cant tell that the arms are now a tiny bit further apart. They still sit and hug my face just as well as before but the lens is perfectly safe now, before it could have fallen out it was so loose. A great product at a quarter of the price of the originals with the added bonus of them being polarised. Now I'm not so worried about damaging them in the action sports that they were intended for. Brilliant.
Looks like you've dug up another really high quality product John. I was hoping that you'd show the view through the lens and you did! Great review brother!
Guess I'll try them out on my Flak Jacket. Maybe the polarized Gold and the green ones. I wish they had an equivalent to Oakley's Ice Iridium Polarized lenses. They're more protective and nicer looking than the blue ones Revant are carrying. But obviously ridiculously priced.
Awsome video, have a pair of Oakley Haojinx that I want to keep but lenses are 5 years old and scratched so now I can get more life out of them! Awsome!
Hey buddy did you buy there elite or standard lens ? Someone said they have different quality levels. Thanks for your review and service to our country
Cool. I had a pair of Visionary Lens which I think now is part of Revant and the Mirror coating started to fake off within a month! Keep us posted! Thanks for the review, Sir
Does the midnight sun lens appear yellowish or red when looking through them? I'm interested in buying some that are similar to the Fire Iridium Lenses that Oakley offers, but I'm wondering if they're as clear as actual Oakley lenses.
Unfortunately, I used their replacement lenses in my Flak Jacket XLJ. The lenses were not as thick and were loose in the frame. Any flex at all and the lenses popped out. The good news was I sent them a message immediately and they sent me a 100% refund. Good customer service, but their lenses didn't work for me.
No problem at all. Write-up was extremely informative. They have a ton of great feedback and their customer service is extremely helpful. Just didn't work in my specific application. No harm, no foul.
