Welcome to a post completion review of one of my recently finished diamond painting kits, or in this case, a mini kit SET! This is the "National Parks" Edition set from PaintGem and was the first (but not last) set that I purchased from them. I've been working on these minis on and off the past few months, particularly when I was traveling or needed a break from larger kits.

I have both sets of the National Parks. JUST LOVE THEM!!! But, hey, the volcano….that Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. SO amazing.

I just got these advertised to me on Facebook--never heard of diamond painting before, generally someone that gets frustrated by crafting... But oh, this looks so cute and fun and genuinely relaxing.. Thanks so much for the review, it was great to see what you thought!

Photo album is a great idea. I bought one of their original kits back in the day when their packaging was not as nice as it is now. The DPs were all on a roll on one canvas and you had to cut them all yourself. The new packaging is so much nicer! I love it.

I've got 6 sets of paint gems so far...they are a blast to do...I've finished the ocean set and bought black frames ...im going to put them all around my large ocean kits on my ocean wall in my bedroom.......really enjoy watching your u tube videos ...keep up the good work....Cindy B

This set looks great finished. I have 5 sets plus 2 more on the way. I plan to display a few in frames and change them out seasonally and store them in A5 books with sleeves I have ordered in between.

Playing your videos while I work so we're co-working/body doubling brings me so much joy and comfort, Katie! These are gorgeous! I've been wanting to try diamond painting but have been hesitant to invest in yet *another* craft hobby. I'm thinking a mini set like this might be a nice test drive because of the small size and variety. What do you think? Would you recommend these as a beginner project? Also, I am in love with your gallery wall idea. I have a goal to take my daughter to each of the national parks over the course of her childhood and it would be fun to add pictures of her at each park to the gallery wall over the years. ❤️

I miss you!! Seeing your comment made my day 💛 I’m glad I can keep you company and cowork a bit! I hear you on hesitating to pick up another craft, but I have to say diamond painting ticks a lot of boxes especially for those of us that are neuro-spicy! These mini sets are super beginner-friendly for sure. They don’t take up a ton of space, come with everything you need, and let you dip your toes into the craft and see if it’s for you without spending a ton or ending up with a giant project. I love your goal of taking your daughter to each of the national parks 🥰 A gallery wall would be such a sweet way to capture those memories! Hope you’re doing well - I’d love to catch up soon 💛

Dollar store is also a good option for frames and photo albums for those that feel like the kits themselves are expensive for their budget.

Since I'm a bartender I had to get the cocktail set. I've completed 3 of them. I love it. My only criticism is having similar symbols of similar colors right next to each other

Disappointed in this company. I've been waiting one month for 1 bag of missing gems to be sent my way from them. They have all the details. Emails to them on where the bag of gems are go unanswered now. Who are you in touch with ? This should be so simple and should have been solved weeks ago. So I thought you should know.
