Never seen that varnish before. The figures look AWESOME Gavin!!! Love the horses to!!! Excellent paint work. I would have a difficult time selling my work. I'll be watching

Beautiful figures marra, really beautiful. Bases are unfussy and very convincing. Your painting brings out the flow and movement of the figures. Top stuff.

Your very kind Rob but please be aware these do come in pieces and have to be glued and the mould lines removed . Perry Miniatures also have metal figures with those you just need to file down the mould lines . Regards Gav.
Gav just a thought re varnishing. If you want two different finishes could you use masking fluid and use gloss on one part and matt varnish where that's required?
I think most things can work with a bit of practice Julian . That's what's great about figures and kits if you have an idea you can probably make it work . Regards Gav.
Hi David all Ak 3rd gen Dark sea blue , ocean blue , star blue and medium blue sometimes i mix them but that's the colours used with andrea blues used on the bag of the busby . Regards Gav.
Light cavalry they guard the flanks of the army keep the enemy cavalry finding out the movements of the army . They pursue and run down the fleeing enemy and of course do reconnaissance ahead of their own forces and when called on can be called on to charge fixed positions (as the light brigade did in the Crimea ) , cheers marra .
