Look at these scales, 219,811 thousand cars with a defective fuel system were sold in Russia. “With prolonged use of a car with a crack, it may increase, which, in turn, can lead to leakage of fuel vapors, and in extreme cases (with a completely filled fuel tank), there is a possibility of fuel leakage,” Rosstandart explains. If we take the leakage of vapors and the fuel itself into one liter per day, then this is already 220,000 liters entered the atmosphere, which is 6,600,000 liters per month. Most likely, a liter per week evaporated somewhere, it was imperceptible even to the owner of the car, but this is 220,000 liters of gasoline, 880,000 liters per month, 10,560,000 liters per year. These are billions, trillions of cubic meters of air poisoned by gasoline vapors. And now let's see the harmful effects of gasoline on human health: 300 gr. gasoline spilled while refueling a car pollutes 200 thousand m3 of air. Inhalation of gasoline vapors causes dizziness, headache, feeling of intoxication, sleep disturbance, sweating, fatigue, causeless lethargy, slight muscle twitching, loss of appetite, agitation, nausea, vomiting, trembling of outstretched arms, muscle cramps. Light poisoning with gasoline vapors can occur after 5-10 minutes. human stay in the atmosphere with the concentration of gasoline vapors ranging from 900 to 3612 mg/m3. Toyota can only be on top in the hybrid and ICE world for so long. The rest of the industry is passing them by in the all-electric world. The Japanese government is pushing for all electric. Even the Chinese government is encouraging mass EV adoption.
@@rkgsd There is also companies like Carbon Engineering that have developed the technology of being able to take excess CO2 out of the air and recycle it to make clean burning fuel making all ICE engines CO2 neutral and doing this with all renewable energy bypassing the environmental hazard of mining rare earth element to make the very environmentally unfriendly battery packs for EVs.
We're still fuming. Trust me,the actual crossovers and SUVs will be flying off dealership lots while this gets canceled within two weeks of her debut. She's not a bad looking car and she deserves a chance to shine, but Americans don't want a sedan of any kind, apparently, lifted or not. They only want SUVs that look either rugged or versatile and preferably both.
@@PHILLIPS8822 this is their 2nd best setup after the one in the tundra. I hope they boost the power to near 400 for the TRD versions of the 4Runner and Tacoma.
it's the most Powerful Toyota Crown ever yet, It out-powered the 2009 model with the biggest engine ever offered in its home market......the 2009 Crown 4.6L V8 with 333 HP
I owned 1979 Crown and then 1982 Crown Super. These are luxury vehicles that handles like sport car and NEVER break! This is a true car. Now I have a Highlander which is great for me and my family, but I can't wait to see this new Crown model!
for years since it was last sold in the mid-'70s, its spirit lived on in the form of Lexus sedans (hence the GS and the LS) but now.......... it's its own model heading globally for more global demographic
Really good to see the Crown name having a big comeback. Visually impressive exterior and dash/cabin is well designed. First thing that's noticeable is the car's elevated stance.. like it's been designed in-between a car/sedan style and SUV.
Something tells me that, because no one under the age of 80 who's not a JDM enthusiast will not have a clue as to what a crown is, so this will end up likely being the Next Generation Avalon.
@@blairbrown4812 yeah right, Toyota Crown sedans, even in it's core markets.......just like the Avalon; are usually viewed as a ride of the Boomer and elder X-gener demographic....... but this all-new, more global Crown will finally break all that..... it's now a car for every set and for every generation, and for every choice and a car with innovations
I currently own a RAV 4 Edge Hybrid down here in australia. If this ever gets sold down here, I might have to consider picking this up 😀 Car looks great, keep up the good work!
@@melvinhunt6976 yup. Which is originally and technically...... The Corona Mark II (Mark II) elsewhere an E-segment sedan that slot between the original F-segment Crown and the D-segment Camry
I am utterly disappointed in this design. 😞 I have had the last 2 generations and they looked remarkable. They look nothing like a Toyota. The screamed luxury inside out. This vehicle should not be compared to a camary or avalon it is belittling. I am extremely disappointed even the interior looks cliche. The S210 and the S220 model these are Crowns and they came with remarkable features no other Toyota came with. They Crown is a car that should compete with BMW 5 series and Mercedes E Class. This new crown is a big no no the only thing I can compare this to is a Toyota Avalon and a Toyota Camery which is not a good comparison for a luxury car. The Toyota crown name cares a meaning please do not ruining that meaning with this generic cheap looking car that looks like a Avalon.
@@jamesricks lol yes it looks like crossover, this should be call another name but most definitely not the crown name… maybe if the wheel base was longer I’d reconsider
the designers are millenials who recently played cyberpunk that's where they get this concept. all car exhibits for 2023 look like they came out of a video game and that sucks.
Beautiful machine! I definitely signed up to stay informed. I’m a little torn; as a commuter, I need those MPGs, but that 340 HP, bi-tone option, and 21” wheels make it hard not to go platinum.
I have a 2003 Crown Athlele VX and a 2008 Crown Athlete both which I imported from Japan back in 2016. Both are fully loaded and I can confirm are better than the new one.
I love the design. It really looks like both a sedan and SuV in one. Toyota definitely has unique styling which is good because they stand out from the same looking cars everywhere. They killed it with the engine, 340HP with combined 38MPG is not bad at all. The only hybrid engines I trust are Toyota.
I'm still driving my 2001 Toyota Avalon XLS--best car ever made. I've got 245,000 miles on it and it isn't slowing down. I think people will miss the Avalon. One reason the Avalon declined in sales is the fact that most people look for the older model with a large backseat and trunk.
If this had a Sportback gate it would be absolutely perfect, but why the trunk on a Sportback style why??? That really is a deciding factor for me for practical reasons other wise I really like the way it looks Infact it's the best Toyota style I've seen for a while.
You really can't judge by the video, you need to see it in person to make that judgement. My impression is it's plenty roomy, though the sloping roof likely has a bit less headroom than your Avalon. That's needed for aerodynamic efficiency. You'd likely say the same about my 2016 Avalon Hybrid, it being lower than your car but I find my car immensely roomy and an sure I'd find the Crown as such, also. Being not a fan of SUVs, the Crown design really speaks to me. Love it!
The 340 HP, AWD, 5.9 0-60 is nice, but for a Hybrid, 28 MPG is pretty low... At least XLE & Limited get 38 MPG, although Rav4 Prime is quicker, can tow more, can store more, and gets better MPG
Really? That's looks good to ya? Is this a channel only the Toyota employees get to follow???? Design of Crown in Japan is AMAZING. But this?................ i'm not so sure........
Hi, pricing for the '23 Toyota Crown will be available closer to the launch date. Until then, we invite you to visit www.toyota.com/upcoming-vehicles/crown/ to sign up for updates as they become available.
@@toyotausa The tech, the design, the stance, the engine, full economy, height. It's somewhere between a Venza and a Camry, with the luxury between a Lexus and an AMG.
Wow! We love hearing that you like so many features in the Crown! Thanks for sharing, we can't wait to hear what you think when you see it in person! 👑
The looks are ok but the two tone paintwork is horrible. Also saw a video on the SUV, estate and sedan version of the Crown. They were all much better looking than this vehicle. I hope they come to the USA very soon.
When it’s going to be available in the US and are we going to see the local greedy dealers charging markup price adjustments, I tried multiple dealers in my areas and they are charging 3-5 k above MSRP
Personally I find it revolting. Looks like a 3 year old child dismantled a Mazda and a blobfish and then put the pieces back together while being blindfolded.
Super max hybrid system in a well-tuned middle or compact sedan, please. Give the BMW 3-series some real competition in terms of driving dynamics and reliability.
When this is available in my country, you'll only see two color tones on the road. Black, or white. Just how the camry from 2006 to today's model, is mostly black.
As for the Crown, my neighbour, an old grandpa with lots of retirement money is an avid collector of Crowns. He owned a lineup of Crowns from the '90s, 2 tenth gens and 1 eleventh gen. He also owned the Lexus version of the tenth gen at one point (Powder blue). Haven't seen them around anymore for a couple of years now, looks like he sold them off as he got older.
The real successor to the original Toyota Venza. I don’t think this will sell well in the US. If the first one didn’t sell, what makes Toyota think this one will too?
Honestly if I had known before this car was coming out, I most likely would have chosen it over my 2022 Camry. This car looks awesome! I’m not a hybrid fan. I’ve never driven one. But I think this car would have been a great option to try it out on
