I own a 2002 Toyota Qualis. It has done 2,65,000 kms and it is still going strong. The Engine starts in one go each time and no smoke from the exhaust at all. Nothing like a TOYOTA .

Kind Note:- You Forgot to mention one major drawback about hydrogen cars it's the lack of hydrogen fuel stations and many will think it can be solved by time like we did in EV charging station but an ev type 2 charging port costs 10k USD whereas a hydrogen fuel station costs 2 million USD.

It's been 6 years and i don't think anybody even ever touched the level of Mr Gaurav Thakur and his content.

Also we learnt in school that hydrogen even though gives more energy output, it takes more space to be stored due to being pressurized than fossil fuels which provide that same amount of energy.... And transportation is another issue as it is not a good fuel if it is bad in one of the following like emission, transportation and efficiency, it ticks 2 boxes, but the transportation one is a issue, but if they somehow makeachines which extract make h2 gas on the refuel station it self, and store it at very low Pressure and temperature and then when it requires to be filled in the vehicle, the machines re- pressurize it on the spot, or it is filled with low pressure and then the car pressurizes the h2 then it will tick the 3rd box too...

Here at Baroda Gujarat Koyali IOCL refinary has established H2 Plant since last 6 month and they are using TATA H2 bus for staff transportation. Plant is under observation. Well hope will see hydrogen Vehicals in India.

Hydrogen price at the pump has to drastically come down , short of that H2O run cars are expensive to own and fuel readily available . I know about it , I had leased Toyota Mirai !

There are still some issues and these are serious issues:- 1) space the tanks take a lot of space and i mean a lot. 2) it’s still hydrogen and the tanks can still get damage in a case of accident or if you car is hit by something that may damage the tanks and then boom 💥 .

A fuel cell is a device that converts the chemical energy of hydrogen into electrical energy. Compared to traditional combustion of hydrogen, fuel cells are known to be much more efficient, typically two to three times more efficient. When hydrogen is combusted, its energy conversion efficiency is around 40-50%. This means that only 40-50% of the energy contained in the hydrogen is actually converted into useful work. On the other hand, fuel cells can convert a higher percentage of the energy in hydrogen into electricity, typically exceeding 50%. To further increase the efficiency, the electricity generated by the fuel cell can be used to power an electric motor. Electric motors are known for their high efficiency, usually ranging from 90% to 95%. This means that the motor can convert 90-95% of the electrical energy it receives into kinetic energy or mechanical work. By combining the high efficiency of the fuel cell (2-3 times more efficient than hydrogen combustion) with the efficiency of the electric motor (90-95%), the overall efficiency is significantly improved. In fact, the overall efficiency of this system is at least twice as high as that of hydrogen combustion alone. In summary, using a fuel cell to convert hydrogen into electricity, and then utilizing that electricity with an electric motor, results in a much more efficient process compared to simply burning hydrogen. The combination of the two technologies allows for the efficient utilization of the energy contained in hydrogen.

It's very dangerous if an accident happens and the H2 tank gets leaked it will instantly blast, and as it has 3 tanks then don't expect anyone to be alive after such blast.
