Why you invest in SPDR ? The price is much higher than vusa. Only the expense ratio is lower 0.03% than the vusa 0.07%? Can you explain this please ? You have done very good job 👍

Hi, keep in mind the price of the ETF means nothing, it's different for many different ETF's as it depends on how much shares of that are in circulation. There might be an ETF that costs 1 per share but there are million more shares in circulation so there is no difference, it's the underlying asset that matters in this case S&P 500 and it moves for all ETF tracking that index the same way, regardless of how much the unit price is. You see this in stock often when a share prices gets high, people think it's 'expensive' then they do a 1/10 stock split meaning the price is one 10th, but then there will be 10 times more shares issues meaning total company value stays the same. Great video Kai the Channel is growing a lot lately and you deserve it! As you recommended to me I started investing with Trading212 and I'm focusing mainly on ETFs. I'm thinking of balancing my portfolio with 60% in the S&P 500, 30% in a second ETF with low expense ratio, such as FTSE All-World or maybe Nasdaq 100, and 10% in individual stock/s. How does that sound and what could be the second ETF? Thank you!

Hi Fede 👋 Thanks for the support and yes, also happy to see the progress 🙌 Your portfolio strategy looks solid. Balancing with 60% in the S&P 500 and 30% in another low expense ratio ETF is a great move. For the second ETF, both FTSE All-World and Nasdaq 100 are excellent choices. FTSE All-World offers broad global exposure, while Nasdaq 100 focuses on tech-heavy growth stocks. So it depends on what aligns more with your investment goals and risk tolerance. Both are strong options to complement your S&P 500 holding. Maybe also depends on which stocks you plan to buy with your 10%. If it's individual tech stocks then maybe all-world would be better, otherwise your US tech exposure might be too much. Cheers

Hi mate, yea, Wio is really been awesome so far. I am not using their investing feature can't comment as I am happy with what I have in my brokers. Not sure you can by UCITS ETF's though if for example you buy VOO, there will be a higher US estate tax to be considered. I take cashback in FIAT which works perfectly 👌 Cheers

Hey Kai Do you need to declare these as capital gains in your country of residence ? how's that working out for yourself ?

Hi Gabriel, sadly you would need to, but depending on where you live. I am now based in Dubai most of the year and as such do not pay any taxes on that, but most EU and other countries would consider this taxable income. Cheers

Did Trade Republic really removed the limit for paying 4% interest but only up to 50.000 EUR? I cant find any official anouncement related to this.

Hi, yes, pretty cool right. This is what it said '4 % Interest Uncapped: Trade Republic continues to pass on the ECB interest rate, currently 4 % interest to customers. Now unlimited on all cash deposits, removing the previous €50,000 limit for all Trade Republic IBAN holders. The rollout begins today in Germany and will continue over the coming months.' Hey Kai great video once again, whats your opinion on freedom 24 and its long term saving account up to 8.3 % interest on usd ? It has a coverage of up to 20K as part of the european investment scheme.

Hi Roger, thank you so much. I haven't used them, but found them a bit expensive and not super attractive interface. Haven't seen the 8.3% on their page, but if I hear that, it just sounds sketchy, that's the same as S&P500 would return over time, so how can they guarantee that without any risk? Not sure and would not do that myself. Cheers

@@SmartMoneywithKai makes sense , i havent done it myself either , however since the european investment scheme does cover it and you have to put your money in a fixed vault for a year i can understand a higher return. Also freedom 24 is part of freedom finance which is listed in the new york exchange thus i wouldn’t just say its a scam simply by the rate. In Greece, its promoted by many youtubers therefore i have also been triggered to investigate it as well and it seems intriguing.

I did not say scam, but sketchy, small difference:) Also, big promotion means usually good commissions for the content creators, but this does not need to be a bad thing. Are you sure the 8.3% are guaranteed and protected? Because even with other brokers when you go for the higher interest rates, that's often invested in money market funds, which are not covered under this protection limit so I cannot image what they invest your money in to get these returns and guarantee it.
