On avg, how many classes do you recommend ppl take each semester for college? Since I see you took like 4/5 classes each semester. I know most of my and other people’s schedule during High School was full- 8-10 classes. So why take less classes?
hmm that really depends... there's a lot of factors to consider here, like how many credits your major requires, if you're working during the semester at a company or hustling with a part-time job. To graduate from Yale on time, students have to average 4.5 classes per semester, or 9 per year. Also, generally speaking, college classes are harder and have heavier loads than high school ones which is why you take fewer classes. For instance, for a humanities class, you might read a book a week and have written assignments twice a week, or you know, 15-page papers at the end of the semester.
