UPDATE: This video was filmed before the announcement of the “Mini & Max” eye brushes releasing the same day as this brush. If I get them in the near future, I’ll be sure to share my thoughts on them. Are you excited for this beautiful Saibikoho brush from Rephr?! 🎉🤍

It is truly wonderful to see brands giving back to people such as yourself, who have a wealth of knowledge and passion for a niche area that they share with others. That is as opposed to some brands and areas of interest that perhaps allocate PR based on the number of followers. Thanks so much for the video; it will be interesting to see how it blooms post wash!

That Sonia G hinoki brush is incredible, my top blush brush...it's a silky soft pillow of love on the skin and gets the job done incredibly well! Great video, thank you

I am so excited for this brush!! I absolutely love saibikoho, and I find I love it just as much as red/Canadian/blue squirrel and fox. In fact, I always gravitate towards it more than anything else- I think because it is so lux, yet it doesn’t need to be treated with as much delicacy as other hair. It has such a wider range of uses, and proves itself a workhorse but luxurious at the same time:) I ended up picking up 2 of these.. and I am highly tempted to get one more lol.. just because this is one of my favorite brush heads and maki-e design. One can never have enough fude!!😂❤ Great video:) Very thorough and informative! Edit: I just got to the part where you compare your Shoushoulang brush (the first one) and I’m so glad you did because I purchased that brush and the Canadian squirrel/saibikoho version, and I’m still waiting on the full saibikoho brush to arrive:) So thank you so much for the comparison(s)!! I’m even more excited now!!😍

Can you share where you got your lace brush guards? Such a better option than mesh for not snagging the bristles!

Absolutely! I get mine from AliExpress. They truly are so much better than those mesh guards. They also don’t compact the brush heads as much as the mesh ones do, so they hold the brush’s shape without compacting it too much. They’re amazing! 🤍🤍

Looks a brush that I would get a lot of use out of ! Question? For hair comparison, do you prefer takeda exs or this new “ saibikoho” rephr blush brush. I know you really enjoy the exs bristle from takeda

That is a good question Ana! .. and a tough one lol!! I’d say, if someone missed out on this Rephr saibikoho brush, then Takeda’s EXS would be a great option. Tbh I love them equally so it’s so hard to say!
