Life as we get older seems to be all about how little time we all have and how much we have to get done in the end. All the respect in the world to you, to working hard for what you want and living with what you can afford. Keep on doing what you're doing, you'll get there it's great to see you succeeding after a lot of setbacks.
I feel ya man. RU-vid was fun at first and it was exciting to see the views fly up. Then once you start making revenue, it gets even more exciting. Then after awhile the revenue just goes up and down and it makes you feel like you have to try harder just to make more revenue. The constant, not knowing if you'll make as much revenue as the last month, really gets old. I'm glad I have a good job and don't need the RU-vid money. It really helps to not have to rely on it.
Well just take your time do what you gotta do when you’re all done hopefully the old gang can get back together and make it like the old days which is what a lot of your viewers want. But most importantly do what makes you happy good luck.

Jacob Downey id say you need to make at least 30k a year to get buy and have a couple toys where I live and I doubt he gets paid enough for this for it to be worth it let alone consistent

I finished my fixer upper a few months ago. Took a whole year of weekends, holidays and evenings after work to do it. Lot of work, ripped out fiberboard on exterior walls. Re framed interior walls insulated and re drywalled the whole house. Re sided. Re sheeted and roofed the garage and house, gutters, you name it.. its new. Pretty much the exterior wall studs and joists, foundation is the only original parts left. Probably should have just tore it down and started over. It felt like it would never end. Im sure you'll find more things that need done. Just keep going at it,I know it sucks but it will pay off

ive been here for a while now. ive never commented on a QR vid before but i thought i should. things will never be how they were thats not always a bad thing. there is still a following thats willing to be patient and will always will support the channel. i kinda feel like its going back to the roots of QR because its not longer your job to post these vids on youtube. its back to being your hobby. i feel like thats what helped the og QR vids. at some point i see you posting vids on weekend trips getting good vids out like the old days of course after you finish your house. good luck penny i cant speak for everyone but i can promise ill still be here on the channel until youtube goes away.
Glad to see you are still out there Penny. I bought cabinets for my house early this year. Cost me about 6000 shipped. I went with a company called Fabuwood. Not quite the quality of Mid-Continent Cabinets but really quite nice. Soft close hinges and slides. Lots of cabinet options. We have been in our home for about 4 years and I'm still working on remodeling a room or 2 at a time. Hey man I wish you luck and most importantly....Keep It Sketchy.
Congrads on the house! I have lived in mine for 20 years so far, and the renovations never end. All ya need is 1 sink, one toilet with hopefully a couple walls around it, and a bed. :)
First off, super happy for you mane! Glad that you're living life and understanding how the real world works (I mean, you already did, but still....) doing what you're doing, with that house. Having a stable job, esp. in IT, will be paying BIG dividends in the future.... I don't think that many of the viewers understand how much of a fucking grind it is to make videos and try to live off that income stream. Sure, you can make some decent cash at times, but it's nothing that is guaranteed or stable. Making your channel a hobby is the way to go. Your true subs will still enjoy whatever and whenever you drop content. And then when you make some cash off YT, it can be some added cheddar. Keep doing you man, and best of luck with everything. Sorry to sound like a fkn Dad, lol!

Do what's good for you. You make content for us but at the end of the day if it's not right for you, then do what is. You have entertained us for a long time good to see you grow and start things to make your life better.
