Pastor Doug I became a member of the SDA years ago. I was baptized a baptise. I never felt that I was hearing the truth. When I learned at the age of 10 I stopped; going too church until later on in my adulthood. I longed to hear; what saith the LORD; Then one day I came a cross a tent service, and it was a SDA service going on and that day, I knew that I had found what I had been longing for. Thanks for proving this correct by your false accusations. I have sat in Catholic, AOG and SDA churches. In my own experience, the SDA church has the most Biblical understanding right throughout. I am with Ps Doug on the fact that I dislike putting denomination labels on Gods Church, as we all should just be God-fearing, Word of God believing, Jesus following Christians. In that though, the SDA church seems best to fit this description. Until I am shown another Church denomination that follows and understands the Word of God better, then the SDA church is the best fit until/if that ever happens. God bless 🙂

You have freedom to practice the 1050 commandments not because you are saved by them but because they will be written in your heart. He did not come to abolish but to complete, there is no problem with resting and choosing a day of rest. The problem is you must let the spirit take hold. If i were you i would be more concernef with the other doctrined they teach like that of you cannot smoke etc which is forbidden, is not true you can eat of everything. You must also not pray infront of the church but at home in secret or there is no reward. Many things are done wrong everywhere, let the spirit show you.
My husband and I were baptized Adventist in the early 1990's. We have slipped away until recently when I saw your and Pastor Stephen Bohr's talks and we watch several of them daily. I went to church yesterday at the Bremerton, WA Seventh Day Adventist Church for the first time in 5 years. Pray for me that Satan doesn't entice me again to follow my own thoughts. Thank you for helping the Holy Spirit open my eyes again to God's will for my life.
I love these videos. They are so easy to follow and are extremely inspiring. Doug would have to be one of the greatest preachers of the word. I hope one day I am worthy in God eyes but my imperfections are many and society is full of sins at every turn.

I've done a good bit of bible study and what you say makes alot of sense. The 70th week of Daniel 2,000+ year GAP theory (very prevalent in protestant denominations) never really jived with me since the prophecy is so concise and ministers have to jump through hoops to make it work. I also never really bought the Nero was antichrist teachings. A buddy of mine says that many of the older clergy these days originally went to seminary to avoid the Vietnam draft, and not as a calling. Based on their lack of bible teaching and knowledge that makes sense. I generally go to the Matthew Henry commentary for answers and that guy from 400 years ago had a much better understanding just by studying the word and not relying on google searches. Thanks for these lessons. You have given me much to think about.

Seek our Father and His understanding. Ask that His Wisdom lead us in His path of righteousness. Knock bless you Father for blessing us with your Son and name Jesus. Pray that our flight will not take place in winter or on the sabbath. Ask the Father if His teachings were spoken through Jesus? Then turn to Jesus and abide in Him and He will reward you for what you have done. The truth is Jesus but there is a certain truth. The ones who teach this truth is the SDA Church. It's sad not everyone can see it. Anyone that preaches Sunday there's no truth in them.
It is not a good attitude to take in finding out what name the Lord is at right now. He is still judging the cases of the dead while the righteous living is in probation. The signal to show that probation is closed for the righteous living is the passing of the sunday law(this is in stages), probation will then shift to the unrighteous living,after that there will be general close of probation. Just as how we do not know when the Lord will return, we do not know when our names will be called up. The same danger that is in date setting of Christ's 2nd Advent, is the same danger to try and find out which names the Lord are calling now.

When I went to look for a church I looked for whoever keep the Sabbath so that was the seven day Adventist church, I love Jesus I love my God but I have two little problems, I’m having a hard time giving up smoking, and I get upset easily and I would like to change that, am I condemn for not Quitting smoke? In Revelation 12:13, the woman is Israel and not the church. It was Israel that “brought forth the man child”, not the church. The “church” didn’t exist when Jesus was born; it came about after Christ’s resurrection. Jesus told Peter that he would build His church on him (Peter) and the church in Antioch was the first church.

God made the Seventh day holy, and sanctified it. We know that the Seventh day is Saturday, because the gospels tell us that Jesus rose on the first day, which is Sunday. The Bible also tells us that Jesus kept the seventh day holy. He would not keep a day holy that was the wrong day. And time has not been lost since the resurrection.

@@djjnh6141 In Job 1 there is talk of a counsel with the sons of God (those that follow Gods word) and satan as the representative of earth. The sons of God must have then been representing other worlds. The others do not come to abduct and experiment and arent encountered on earth since they would get infected with sin also so that is likely either a delusion from the devil placed on some or a misunderstood encounter with man.
I have a question, and maybe I missed something that explained it or that we simply just don't get to know this until that time is upon us. In the last lesson, the 2 marks are explained to be the spirits. The spirit of the beast and the Spirit of God. If the marks given us in the end days are spirits, how would that keep us from being able to buy and sell? Also in a previous lesson, Pastor Doug explains that satan can't hear our thoughts, so if we're marked with the Spirit of the Holy Ghost, how would those who are marked by the beast know this in order to stop our buying and selling? Aim True have you ever heard the expression he is a marked man? Is that literal or physical? If we have a mark on us that only God's angels can see ,no one else would know we are marked. Now, considering that the mark keeps us from buying and selling , we know that can't be the case. Currently, a person who is marked on this planet has a hard time finding a job, and has to keep moving because basically they are hunted or persecuted. Our actions and words mark us as ones to be esteemed or persecuted. Can a celebrity go anywhere without the press following them around. People distance themselves from somebody that has bad press so that they will not receive the rebuke and torture that is going to fall on that person . If you believe the truth you will share it, and persecution will follow (not might but will) . ALL who live godly in Christ will suffer persecution. 2Timothy 3:12 .
