That’s cool! Basically the same as the 5 window, I have a lot of stuff left over from that, including the louvered trunk, hood and sides. The first thing I thought when I saw that seat was a brown or burgundy leather color!!!

Good save there. Big guy. I hope you show progress videos as you go. I really like the 30’s era cars done up as sharp rods. One suggestion I would make would be to two tone it. Make the fenders a different color than the body. I feel that it would be a real eye catcher. Later dude.

Congratulations on attaining over 2300 subscribers! The car looks great, although, that's strange how it didn't quite strip all the paint off. Oh well, you're painting it red so it shouldn't cause any problems. Another great build and an even better save!

I started this kit in the early 90s. Bad paint job caused me to put it back in the box and life caused me to quit with models. Picked it back up a couple of weeks ago and now I'm attempting my first weathered paint job. Looking good so far. Not gonna be quite right with the billet wheels and small block Ford but heck finishing it beats it setting in the box.

Going to be a cool ride. I use The awsome a lot. Testors one coat I use 91% alcohol. But primarily I use the awsome.

Looks like fun, if the body is too scored you can make it rusy and weathered. Either way should be an interesting build.

Check out Evan Designs and their LED's. They have some VERY small PICO and Z, LED's in various colors. You will be amazed Mark. Looking forward to this build.

This will be fun to watch. I use LA Awesome as well. I have better luck with it than Purple Power. I pulled all the pics I did of my old models from facebook back in the day,(before video) some 5+years ago and of course they have a file name as long as a 1:1 car... Lol I have been going through the picks and renaming them so I can put a video together of stills of sorts. The one I'm working on is a 32 model A that I painted when I was 15 or so and it was red. So I stripped it and the plastic looked like you took a ax to it. Like the paint just ate it. Video Coming soon! Have fun. Love the color and cant wait to see it on the car... LLAP 🖖 I think my production computer Linux install is taking a crap. Time for a nuke and pave, reinstall... I have another computer not to worry... Lol

I just bought a used kit off of ebay and the engine was built, with chrome parts attached, but not painted, just as the engine in this kit. I wonder why people do that?

did it work grandpa i hope it did i like you grandpa i have a hard time sending you that jo-hand s/c rambler so i'm going to give it to you you can make 2 of them and i gave you some cargar wheels and white letter tires i want you to build it the way you want to and i have the decal for it but their not in the box can i put them in a envelope with wax paper what do think grandpa please let me know thank you grandpa
