There should be a service of "adult babysitter" "hire a grandma", or "sleep police" etc, something like that, that one could hire, to either call or come over make sure you get to bed.

Hah! I set "heads up" alarms to get me off the computer and get ready for bed... and I ignore them...

Exactly. Everything I've looked into about this talks about being consistent and creating a routine and they never talk about how to do that. I've been trying for years to do that. I've had a bedtime routine. Yet I'm still struggling

@@baileyboo808same. What's needed is an intervention, or a way to hire an "adult babysitter" etc, to make sure you go to bed early at least once or twice, to break the cycle.

Damn… I thought I would actually learn how to change that procrastination behavior. But it’s the same as usual: you gotta force yourself

Thanks for saving me the time. On to another video to foolishly hope there's some trick I haven't thought of that isn't: you gotta force yourself

Needs intervention one or twice to break the cycle

Make it a game and competition against your former self. Track your sleeping times and make a game out of the results. That's how I get into things.

@1:26, honestly I was doing RBP since before covid and wfh was a thing. I prefer working from home now as I don't have to waste time commuting anymore, giving me more time to do the things I actually want to do. Having to commute to work and thus less time made my RBP worse.

You can't remove electronics if you have to wake up to alarms; bit silly.
@NoxCattus

Not to mention if you have perfected this to point to where you can put off going to bed by doing non tech things like filing paperwork at 3am just cause it's the only time of day no one talks to you 😂

A bit literal. Also, there are analog alarm clocks/ tic-toc clocks

She’s talking about electronics such as phones and computers, as they are highly distracting. But if you get distracted playing with your alarm clock you can always get a rooster. ;)
