Star Wars, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sound of Music. In a tradition of these great films is about fighting back against the odds. 20th Century Fox presents, another milestone in motion picture history: Revenge of the Nerds.
This is one of my favorite films from the 80's. It's funny and never gets boring, it was deifinitely time for the odd to get even and the cast was superb.
The late and legendary Orson Welles is the voice over for this classic movie ad for Revenge of the Nerds. The film has Orson's hallmarks of movie entertainment: rich complex characters (snicker), psychological depth (pffft), crisp intelligent script writing (giggle giggle) and fine dramatic performances based on realistic experience (whoa! Good one! Hah hah!). IE: Orson left this earth with this, his final gift, as his legacy. (Sad, dude!)😂🤣😅🤗
They were going to do a remake last year but the studio decided to cancel it before filming could start. Good idea if you ask me, such classics should never be remade.
Like the box of candy "Nerds" says on the back. Everybody on earth is considered a nerd weather it be liking movies or sports, there is a nerd in all of us. End bullying!
Loved this movie when I was kid. Nothing beats those silly 80's teen flicks! What I love about this movie was its message, it wasn't just about nerds the message was broader than that the the central theme of the nerds was just a metaphore for something bigger. it was about the empowerment of all the underdogs out there...minorities, introverted, shy, gay, pimple face, whatever.
