My impression has been Berlin school = more plucks and polyrhythms, Paris school = more pads and modes but there is probably more to it than that. Great work Gary!
@@Tetrad10 Cheers mate - Yes hard to differentiate it for sure on purely music technique. I would say overall Paris is a softer, spacey and predominantly melodic vibe whereas Belin is darker, more driven and almost industrial at times (certainly the 70s periods for both)
