I'm curious about the size of the bodies because they seem kind of big on youtube anyway. You and Ken are big men so how would they suit a smaller person sitting down. Are they really that much different than say a Telecaster or Stratocaster.
The Double Agent is, without a doubt, the most versatile guitar ever made. Bridge pickup, full bass contour covers Gibsonland. Roll down the bass contour and you’re in Tele territory. Need a ten ton strat? Roll that bass contour up from zero and dial in all the thickness you need. Reverend makes THE BEST P-90 on the market, period. The point Ken made about being able to adjust everything on the guitar without running to the amp is an understatement. Set your amp to the edge of breakup and just about every sound is at your fingertips by adjusting the bass contour knob and volume. It’s truly a great guitar design.
I've had about 20 Reverend over the years. Their pick-ups are 2nd to none. I feel like I've made this comment before so forgive me if I'm repeating myself. The different Railhammers are outstanding but the humbucker in the Double Agent may be the best pickup for fuzz I've ever owned. That includes expensive USA made guitars.
They go for $999 online, I got one from Guitar Center for $699 and it came in black and it's so beautiful. It look like Tim Henson's THBB10 mixed with a fender jazzmaster. I have always wanted to own a guitar that has a mix of p90 pickups and humbuckers. I had a lovely Gretsch guitar but I traded it in for this and I recommend this guitar to anyone.
My Reverend Descent Baritone is absolutely amazing. The bass roll off control is a game changer. Excellent build quality and superb playability. I played a lot of baritones before purchasing and the Reverend gets everything perfect.
Just received my Double Agent OG in Periwinkle Burst from Sweetwater yesterday...I love it! The one is out of this world and it's just a thing of beauty as well.
I'm first really good guitar was a Reverend Flatroc which I still have and love but they never say much about that model. I also have a Gil Parris Signature and a Jet Stream. Love em.
Please incorperate skunk stripes. I hate mismatched/miscolored fretboards when they are suppose to be the same wood. Or please release rosewood or ebony board versions where its intentionally a differrnt look/wood type.
