Reverse 1999, the only game that can make me google stuff up so many time and I actually learned a lot from it.

Reverse 1999 have one of the best storytelling and characters development in gacha industry.

What i love in chapter 6 they have whai i said "Arcane treatment" where all character have really good intentions and they really mean it but every effort they make only gave them the opposite outcome. what Kakania truly wanted is to unite arcanist and humans in Vienna with stopping any repression that Arcanist received from human by overcome their "Primal bond", where they can freely using arcane skill without any discrimination but what happens when the Arcanist truly overcome their "primal bond"? The end of the chapter is the answer. This kind of story is really refreshing to even gacha game community where the massage is "no matter how good your intention was, sometimes the reality would give you the worst outcome possible" and it happens so many time in Reverse:1999

Island actually missed the forest for the trees with the arcanist and human explanation. The whole game tells us that arcanists are these emotional people that are too unstable to be trusted, while humans are those super logical and rational people, which in turn is something that is often seen in reality, that artists are seen as more emotional, while researchers might scoff at that emotionality that can't be logically explained, while still enjoying the work of artists. This is pretty clearly bullshit, there are very logical artists and in game we can see some of the most rational people being arcanists (Sonetto, 37, 6 anyone?), partially because they want to escape the stigma of being irrational, so in the end it is most likely prejudice.

How could we have not expected it to be Mr. *Marco* This is exactly the fan content I would wish for/expect from Reverse: 1999

13:44 - "Richard Strauss" I swiftly caught this just now as this name has been referenced within Chapter 6 as well through two minor characters - Mr. Richard (also pronounced the same way) who is the Foundation Headquarters's contact in 1914 Vienna, and Mr. Strauss, the Foundation member who intervenes after Isolde lost control in the chapter "Bad Seance". I never put two and two together until after rewatching this.

Saw this video weeks ago and decided to comeback to Reverse 1999 before watching this (thank goodness I did). Had to continue from Ch 3 but I binged so hard and my mind is blown from all the lore I just consumed. Ending it with this latest chapter was so peak! The story and music is amazing! I kinda feel bad for missing out on past events but I can appreciate the main story wayyy more playing it now. I look forward to more Reverse 1999 content cuz it definitely deserves more recognition

20:20 from what I've heard in this video, ch.6 has various details from opera, right? But ch.6 contains similar amount of references compare to ch.5 imo. It's just focus in ch.5 was on ancient greeks' culture in it's entirety and ch.6 didn't bring such vast topic showing us specifically opera staff. Unfortunately, I can't recollect those references now, bad memory, but surely I was just blown away by the effort behind all that alone, devs managed to specify and integrate a lot of things from greeks' philosophy as well as namely euclid's doctrine which felt fascinating. Yet opera is one of the things I have no idea about, thus enjoyed 6th ch. actually less then 5th, opposite from island's experience. So, the whole thing is knowledge about the plot's background, it seems. Pretty interesting...

26:54 "You can teach people so many stuff through the things they enjoy." Hm, yes. 6 being one of my favorite characters, I just HAD to brush up on high school mathematics to understand why he is named 6 and what it means to be a perfect number.

I would try the game out, but i really don't like turn based combat, so I doubt I'll play it for that long. I tried star rail and eventually stopped playing after a few months and then returned for peak-acony when it came out and then stopped again because of this, even with how good the story can be, and I used to play pokemon, too, but it was just for the collecting aspect, not the actual gameplay of fighting the monsters, so I eventually stopped playing it. I've also started to feel myself getting burnt out of daily grind live service games since I've been playing them for 4 years straight and a lot more often recently with how much free time I've had and how many new games like this came out recently (and also how much I played hypixel skyblock in the beginning of june to the point of burning myself out of it but we don't talk about that lol). I quit one of those games, and I'm on the fence about the other. I'll see how I feel about it in a month or 2. It's not turn-based, so that'll definitely help whether or not I continue to play it.
