Mann! I had both sets, the standard 30s and them reverse 8s on vouges and my 30s on white wall tires. I would switch up the wheels sometimes on my 81 cutlass with that burnt orange 🍊 paint job with peanut butter interior, grant steering wheel take out kit. 350 Chevy crate engine and 350 transmission with the flow masters dual exhaust and muffler system overhead cam. A real road runner. Fast car and that was in the early 90s. I miss that cutlass.
That's one clean caddy bro. Just the way we rode them back in the 80's. Truz and Vogue's are the perfect match for a Lac. Other wire wheels look ok,depending on the set up,but 30 spokes wrapped in Vogue's on a Lac...Timeless! Those air shocks in the rear should be enough,or get some high lift springs. Those bushings and lifters tend to pop out at times and/or split. Clean ride bro,keep it nice and clean

When calling any wire rim company to place an order over the phone, they have specifically told me that the reverse deep dish wire rim version is NOT designed to fit on an olde-school automobile after I tell them the make and model. Only the standard wire rim version is designed to fit. You would not have had any of these problems if you used the standard wire rim version. If a person wants to use the reverse deep dish version, they either need to remove the original axles and install shorter axles, or, flare out all the wheel wells to make them wider.
Get rid of the air shocks and put in bigger springs(not spacers). Air shocks are fine when you only need them to tow something but if you need them just to drive they will come down someday and leave you stuck.
I feel your pain with the fit with. I would be pissed and yes what I got might look like shit to others but the shit got sentimental value! Stay grinding

Love those rims .. had those on my first car, 78 Malibu. All u gotta do to get the air shocks up easy with a weak compressor is put a jack under the back to take the weight off. Fuck that shop tho. Beautiful caddy bro
Mclean just released the 30 spoke starwire elbow for cheap checkm out ,truspoke has bought the patent to the cragar starwire elbow they were supposed to mass produce this summer but had to halt & stop due to a lawsuit by i think texan wire wheel for the ownership of the rims,but tww uses glue & bolts ,truspoke is going to do the oldschool weld version better for no spokes poppin out or front plate
