am 86 , mow my large lawn , clean my houses , wash all the window and go to a class for balance and do weight lifting . The class for balance and weight lifting has been an extreme help I can continue to mow my lawn . My day starts with porridge, fruit and orange jce and watch my weight ( 108 lbs at present ) My husband and I were hiking in our late 70s , on some days walked 25 k . A day. My parent died at 96 and 102 no dementia. They were farmers until they retired .

And STILL, STILL insurance companies won't pay for what heals us, makes us healthy and happy, and helps us to live BETTER, longer lives. Sigh. Health is for those with wealth. A trip to the Functional doc for tests is minimum of $750. Not in my budget. The tests I've had w allopathic doktors are useless, the Rx and treatment have been useless or made me worse. Most people i have known on a personal basis who have memory lost eat sugar. For instance, I have a good friend that has relatively good weight in his 80s. But he said that his memory is going and he eats a ton of sugar a week, such as in chocolate bars and ice cream. But he has good blood work. Which he had done about a year ago. So I am under the impression that sugar does affect the brain. My neighbor who is now in a home because she is unable to look after herself.Because of her dementia always craved sweets.Always ate chocolate bars and candies everyday. And another neighbor of mine who is in her Late seventies is a diabetic and her memory is really going down hill. She buys a lot of candies and cookies even though she knows she's a diabetic.

I agree. My mother is a good example. She now has Alzheimer. She ate simply, cooked all her food from scratch, did not smoke or drink alcohol, liked a little sweets, but never abused sugar in any way, never worked shift work and never complained about not sleeping well. Trained for the seniors Olympics the through the year, and competed, kept a very clean and organized home, learned how to play bridge, volunteered, and was active at her senior's club. I use to tell her she was a great example of growing old gracefully. Still during her 70's she started showing signs of mental declined. She is now 90, living in a nursing home and is very healthy except for now being in the her last phase of Alzheimer. So I am concerned I will also get this. I am 68. I have had a healthy lifestyle as well but I am not as healthy as she was. So, yes in a perfect world we could do nothing but focus on our health, eating only the best foods, finding time to relax enough to not experience great stress, finding time to exercise, etc. I feel this doctor is shaming people who get Alzheimer - somehow the affected person is not and has not done enough to not get this disease. The medical field will have to get more specific.
@jr.6199
@jr.6199 Месяц назад
@@JudyBarrette Its time to do what you can do. Don't use the "perfect world" excuse, of those who don't want to try for "better". And do not blame doctors for "shaming". They are being honest. They can't even use the medical term morbidly obese now, for claims of "body shaming". Respect the truth and now do your best,.

@@jr.6199 You are missing my point. Of course people need to take responsibility for their health. At least do what they can. It may extend their quality of life and keep them from certain health problems. But there is a limit to what each individual can do. Even with her awareness and dedication to a healthy lifestyle, my mother still got Alzheimer. She responded well to the propaganda that healthy lifestyle and eating right since the 70's, which is when I remember her starting to do so. When you have such people getting Alzheimer, you need to start looking at what else may be the cause. Perhaps study people in their 90's who do not have it. Perhaps look at the food industry and really study the true effects of preservatives, dyes, sweeteners, oils, and a multitude of chemicals which are forced on us to consume despite our efforts not to.

Quarter tspn of Cayenne pepper in half a glass of boiled water is great for opening veins, according to Barbara O'Neill, try getting her to drink it a couple of times a week, I'd recommend a switch to raw milk also if she isnt on it all ready. I started with memory problems in my 30s, I'm now 45 & struggle incredibly, I've begged doctors to check it's not early onset dementia or alzheimers & they think I'm crazy. Memory problems have caused me many problems including relying on my young children to stay on top of reminding me things & having to give up work, I also developed fibromyalgia amongst other things, neuropathy in my hands & feet, tremors, couldn't lift my left arm, stiffness, aches & pains, chronic fatigue etc etc. In the last 6 months, I switched diet, got rid of sugar, seed oils, started exercise, taking supplements & switched to eating more beef several times a week, organic fruit & veg only, introduced raw milk, honey, unpasteurised butter & started taking lions mane vitamins, it HAS HELPED. I don't know which has helped the most or if it's a combination but switching things you do daily that you know/find out are damaging, I.e I used to drink a lot of pasteurised milk, yet the doctor told me my bones are crumbling, & lost an inch off my height & pasteurised milk does nothing for us. I learned that cholesterol is actually important to brain health, something my diet was low in, animal fat & butter, heavy cream etc is essential to brain health. My diet prior I didn't eat fat, it was lean chicken as we were brainwashed animal fat causes health problems etc, yet studies show according to my research the lower the LDL cholesterol the higher the risk of memory problems, brain decline. The brain is made up of cholesterol & it's necessary for the brain to function correctly. How they read HDL/LDL cholesterol is all wrong according to newer more accurate research & when you track that back to when people started developing these health problems, they seem to correlate. We can't know everything but for right now, what I know is more accurate than what so called mainstream doctors are pushing. I've healed more doing this than 7 years on hard medication making my symptoms worse, trusting my doctor & healed absolutely nothing. I hope these tips help 🙏 Your mom's done so well getting to her age, I hope her symptoms can be reversed/stopped. All the very best 😊❤

Our huge brains require ketones, made by the liver, along with glucose from birth to develop and be fueled properly. We spend our lives blocking ketone production with the crappy recommended diet full of sugar and junk starches. The brain is starved for decades. Any wonder we see an epidemic of AD? This problem begins when a baby is first given sugar. Being in a well fed ketogenic state as nature intended is the key to prevention. It may also offer some reversal, but geez, the damage is done.

Cells need it & we get zero from diet yet it's necessary for so much work every cell in our body does especiallythe thyroid & hormone system. I hope these tips help 🙏 All the very best 😊❤

Could this cause her to be more delusional, but also was diagnosed with Alzheimers. I reminded the family that she needs to take her meds daily. Has anyone seen this before? Thank you!

This presentation never really gets to the point. There are ways to filter out water for heavy metals and fluoride that are not expensive. There are technological devices, such as PEMR devices, earthing, and spending time in nature. Eating 75% Your normal size meal. Exercising to music and making sure you have movements that are asymmetrical, meditation with movement, being a nature and getting sunlight in your eyes at dawn and Sunset. Blue light blocking glasses and minimizing screen time. We do not need expensive IV infusions until it is proven that our body cannot absorb the vitamins that were eating. They are not covered by insurance and do not. Promote the understanding that the body in general must be taken care of as a whole. And this still does not cover shadow work, the spiritual, and energetic.

I would live to hear about fixing cognitive loss, memory loss, overall health loss and declining health for those who survived life threatening Sepsis. I know Post Sepsis Syndrome is a real thing. I suspect however that it maybe cause by all the medication pumped into us while in intensive care. And did we really consent? I have almost zero longterm memories anymore, and a short term memory of about 5 seconds....I'm not kidding.

Have you been taking probiotics since your sepsis subsided? Because antibiotics kill your gut bacteria, which means you aren't able to digest the nutrients out of your food. Also take kefir, quality cheese, homemade yogurt, and kimchee. Then get involved in a social activity where you'll be forced to talk face to face and/or move your body. Quit smoking! Don't drink alcohol because it's going to raise your blood sugar and hurt your brain. Do not eat foods fried in seed oil or corn oil. I also have memory issues, which are aggravated in hot weather presumably by dehydration, but also by eating tons of ice cream instead of keto-friendly foods.

Pain relief for acute pain is about all I trust, these prescription meds are dangerous & cause more health problems with killing healthy gut microbiome, especially antibios imho. The fluoride in toothpaste kills oral microbiome causing cavities & loss of teeth etc, plaque. The same for pets we force to eat fake carbs, their health problems mirror ours because they're in effect eating the same as us, fake carbs most of the time. Some tips I implemented below. Quarter tspn of Cayenne pepper in half a glass of boiled water is great for opening veins, according to Barbara O'Neill, try drinking it a couple of times a week, I'd recommend a switch to raw milk also if not on it all ready. I started with memory problems in my 30s, I'm now 45 & struggle incredibly, I've begged doctors to check it's not early onset dementia or alzheimers & they think I'm crazy & cant explain the cognitive decline. Memory problems have caused me many problems including relying on my young children to stay on top of reminding me things & me having to give up work, I also developed fibromyalgia amongst other things, neuropathy in my hands & feet, tremors, couldn't lift my left arm, stiffness, aches & pains, chronic fatigue etc etc. I don't know which has helped the most or if it's a combination but switching things you do daily that you know/find out are damaging, I.e I used to drink a lot of pasteurised milk, yet the doctor told me my bones are crumbling, & lost an inch off my height. & actually pasteurised milk does nothing for us except damage gut microbiome. I started lugols 5% iodine, 2 drops daily in a glass of water too. Cells need it & we get zero from diet yet it's necessary for so much work every cell in our body does especially in the thyroid & hormone system. I hope these tips help 🙏 All the very best 😊❤

If people are living with Alzheimer’s, is their proof that they actually have Alzheimer’s or is it simply dementia? I thought the only way you could test for Alzheimer’s was an autopsy. Is that incorrect?
