Snyder would've been a fantastic leader of the DCEU, and he even had a plan for how it all connects & ENDS. He was going to end it the best way possible: with the Flashpoint Paradox storyline, an elegant way to reboot the DCEU and would allow Snyder to stepdown & let someone else take the reins of the future of the DCEU, complete with a rebooted cast and crew. It would've been a perfect way to send off Cavill's Superman, Momoa's Aquaman, Affleck's Batman and Gadot's WW. But alas...

This is what I been telling people from the beginning, had the studio stuck with Zack Snyder version of Justice League it would of opened up to a lot of potential which could of been better than Marvel. Seriously they need to bring back Zack Snyder because James Gunn is just gonna make the reboot films quirky and humourous which ain't gonna win me over. In fact I won't be watching them

Despite the current state of MCU they haven’t rebooted once. They’ve been consistent in establishing characters and telling long form stories eventually connecting them. Even x-men wasn’t rebooted, days of future past just changed the timeline. Dc reboots every 3 movies then wonders why they aren’t doing MCU numbers. All DC needs to do is stick to a plan, take their time developing the core characters

Totally agree, Snyder is Gunn's friend & was probably doing him a solid with throwing praise to Blue Beetle film. The Flop of the remaining DCEU was not the fault of the New Leadership. Also "DC Studios" is now it's own separate studio only created when Gunn & Saffron were given dual CEO of DC everything & they are the final say as was the terms of taking the CEO roles. Not sure if the streamer that made the vid you watched is aware of this.

It’s interesting that had WB not interfered we would’ve gotten this fully developed and realized universe of epic films featuring the greatest heroes in comics. They would’ve easily gotten that handled and seen that reset with a Flashpoint Paradox film, that they could’ve used to reboot. And now their films and the brand are in the gutter

There’s no doubt that the leader ship of warner brothers made some terrible decisions with there DC cinematic universe. How ever I strongly believe that dceu movie fans wildly over exaggerate what the universe could’ve been. Zack Snyder’s Justice league is arguably in my opinion a top 10 comic book movie of all time it’s easily in my top three DC movies of all time. And that movie absolutely bombed.
