I made a circle cutter attachment for my plasma cutter to make jobs like this easier. I think you did a better job free-handing a lot of the parts, however.
Excellent Video! Excuse me for the intrusion, I am interested in your opinion. Have you tried - Tarbbatigan Beyond Dreams Tip (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a great exclusive guide for quitting smoking minus the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my close friend Aubrey finally got cool success with it.
Thinking of building at minimum a 40 x 60 shop. Might build the ibeam frame and roof so I can use it and later the concrete and walls. I helped weld a 24x30 for my father and you can barely walk in there.
Would I have any problems reaching a coocking temperature if I add a box on top of the firebox? What I mean is to place another 5 briskets in that box.
Nice build, it turned out sweet. Gearing up to start mine in a few weeks, have 500 gal propane tank and plan to use a smaller tank for warmer but going to make my box out of 1/4" plate.
It's a Hypertherm 30XP. Rock solid machine. I've missed the gouge function on the bigger machines but other than that it's perfect. My dad has a M.A. in Music Theory so I grew up listening to classic music. Hello from Texas.
I'm german and try to explain it in english. I'm a metal worker since 1984. Your work is very "old school". It's done like at home in a private garage. Sorry, but in my opinion professional work looks different.
@@LewisRenovation Everything o.k. ✌✌ Sorry, but maybe it's only because I see it through the eyes of a long time metal worker and welder. Go on and do it the way you wanna do it. Greetings from Germany. 😎😎
Of course I'm alwsys working to improve. And my welding is better today than it was two years ago. But I'm sure it will never be as good as someone with your experience. Plus, it's a BBQ, not a bridge :) Zum Wohl
I got all my critical dimensions from the following website. Down at the bottom has a calculation for fire box opening. www.feldoncentral.com/bbqcalculator.html Thanks for watching and commenting.
Great job!! just started my reverse flow and I picked up a few really good pointers. Speaking of pointers ,, nice dog watching you work 👍 Thanks again for posting your vid 🇨🇦🍻
3/16 will last x2 lifetimes every where except the firebox. Which the bottom will probably rust out in 15 years. Even my 1/4 I just assume I'm going to have to replace the bottom sometime in the distant future.
Thanks! Family wanted to use the BBQ for 4th of July so I tacked in a small piece of expanded metal. The next week I cut it out and welded in expanded metal that went from end to end and also on the shelf in front.
When you opened the door a bunch of smoke came from the firebox area. That should not be happening. There should be zero. I dont think you know what reverse flow is.
