I went through so many tutorials looking for an explanation on how to iron the headband nice and flat once flipped over.. Glad you explained the rolling back and forth with fingers.. Was so easy !! Made one in minutes!

I have two daughters that are starting to take an interest in crafting and sewing. This makes a fantastic beginner project for them, while also getting good use from my quilting project scraps! My sewing machine has letter stitching on it and I plan on personalizing a few headbands with monograms for my girls for back to school in a few weeks. Congrats on your new channel!

Just made 2 of these. I love your straightforward directions! Everything is clearly explained. I found a 4 inch piece of elastic was a little too small so the the 2nd one I cut it 5 inches long and this went over my head much easier at the same time providing a snug enough fit. Maybe a good idea to sew one end and then pin an adjust the other end before cutting the elastic - just a thought as everyone has a different shaped/sized head! Love all your videos! So easy to follow!

Thank you for doing this great tutorial! I watched tons of other videos on making headbands and yours is the best! I appreciate that you showed us how easy it is to make your own template. I made two, one for me and one for my 8-year-old's.head, basically a couple inches shorter. The only thing I wanted that you didn't' have was using fold-over elastic with sliders to make it truly adjustable. The elastic that's not adjustable always ends up popping off my head! Anyway, thanks for such a great job!

Love your new channel...I was so excited about this tutorial I had to make a headband tonight! I didn't have any elastic on hand so I pulled an old pair of pj pants and cut the elastic out...it worked great, lol I love my new headband, I can see me making plenty more.

Super cute. I have great granddaughters who have been sewing since grade 2 and 3..Hopefully they will like to make these for their friends. They are in 4th and 5th grade now. I bought the materials for them. I will make them some and then if they want..they can make them for their friends. Would be cool for "twin days" at school.
