Got the biggest mouthful of abuse from the shunter in FedEx Marston Gate after I decided to back on a random bay just to practice reversing, he came shooting over to me and shouted what you doing drive?! I said I’m just having a practice reverse, wrong thing to say as the amount of abuse I got from him saying DO NOT practice here and if he sees me doing it again I’ll be banned. I tried saying to him have some compassion as you were like me once, he wasn’t interested. I thought what a complete and utter c…..t.
Just a bit of advice please. How far do you travel passed the empty space you want to reverse into before starting your full lock. Around 2 spaces by the looks of it ? Is that correct? Any advice appreciated. Subbed thanks
Depends on the space available to you, if you've got loads of room it's always best to use it and get as straight as you possibly can, otherwise I tend to go past about 2. Or 3 trailers
have a driving assesment with NFT Asda in daventry 3 days after having my license back from passing my test...just driven past and seen how narrow the yard is. not looking forward to it... haha
+guitarkidification you'll be fine just take your time and if your unsure always get out and check. There's no shame in getting out several times we've all been there good luck and take care
Yes the yard is narrow that’s why the bays on the fence are at an angle but as matey below said just take your time mate I’m sure your be fine. I’m in there around 1700 hrs every other day. But the yard can be mental at times with no room at all.
