I am a convert too. Converted 18 years ago when I was 16. Jinns have always been part of my life since I was a child as well. Islam explained the Jinn was what I always experienced. I feel like there has always been a specific Jinn with me because I recognize it when it's near me, but I believe it's a good jinn. Alhamdulillah I am a niqabi too now. I never met a Muslim before I converted. I studied religions during an extreme depressed time and found Islam ❤

Just have three words after listening your story. First Alhamdulillah that a good person with a very good heart became a Muslim and Allah saved you. Subhan'Allah for such an amazing story. 3rd AllahUAkbar that Allah greatness,mercy and love doesn't go away even when we are arrogant he gave us chances again and again and this made me cry, your story. I don't mean to be "that guy" but since i've started sleeping in this specific room every time i wake up for fajr i wake up terrified (no it's not a nightmare) i just feel terrified for some reason then when i'd go to my room's bathroom i feel like some random head is gonna pop up and i can hear something shouting "get out" obviously i say the dua when entering the bathroom so i believe it's probably my imagination but something shocking to me is when i went to the kitchen to drink some water before making wudhu i feel like there's some large entity behind me almost trying to grab me but i'm too afraid to look back lol and when i take wudhu and close my eyes i legit feel somebody instantly sprint towards me and stays on my right hand side and when that happens i get these terrifying images of a creature.. at one point i actually saw something quite dark just zoom past me into another room but thankfully when I read quran that fear disappears instantly strange..
I seriously suggest to read the ayatul Kursi before bed. Allah sends an Angel to guard you till morning. Shaitan HIMSELF told Abu Huraira and Prophet Muhammad(saw) confirmed it. I suggest remembering that ayat ASAP so you can recite it at anytime. Its a very powerful ayat. Hope it helps you,brother. May Allah protect you. Amin.

I went through a similar thing ...as yourself it only took me an instant to realize only Allah can protect me from the Jin and so I had to ask for His help against them... then I started praying etc and they went away.... funny to see there are other cases like mine

Sister , read & memorise ayatul kursi , sura falaq & Na'as , shayton will not get any chance ;If possible memorise last 10 verse's of sura kahf for protection against fitnah of dazzal and last times

Reading Surah Al-Ikhlas Surah Al-Falaq....Surah An-Nas And also this ayah وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا﴾ [ الإسراء: 82] And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss. It has many flaws as a theory, numerous Plus if jin enters and he can control our actions or harm us someway as you people say, we can easily put our wrongdoing on him .. It's all business, sad to see it being promoted by mainstream speakers.

Abū Umāma said he heard God’s messenger say, “Recite the Qur’ān, for on the day of resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who recite it. Recite the two shining ones, Baqara and sūra Āl Imrān (Qur’ān, 2 and 3). for on the day of resurrection they will come as two clouds or two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks* pleading for those who recite them. Recite sūra al-Baqara, for using it produces blessing and abandoning it produces regret, and the magician are unable to recite it.” *The alternative may indicate that the transmitter was not sure which word was used, “clouds” or "shades”. Muslim transmitted it. Surat Al-Baqarah is very important to read, as it protects you for three days from the devils of mankind and the jinn, from the plots of magic, and from everything that is harmful. Reciting Surat Al-Baqarah contains abundant blessings. Inshaallah Tallaa
Surah 17 Al-Isra, Ayat 56-57 قُلِ ادۡعُوا الَّذِيۡنَ زَعَمۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِهٖ فَلَا يَمۡلِكُوۡنَ كَشۡفَ الضُّرِّ عَنۡكُمۡ وَلَا تَحۡوِيۡلًا ﴿17:56﴾ اُولٰۤـئِكَ الَّذِيۡنَ يَدۡعُوۡنَ يَبۡتَغُوۡنَ اِلٰى رَبِّهِمُ الۡوَسِيۡلَةَ اَيُّهُمۡ اَقۡرَبُ وَيَرۡجُوۡنَ رَحۡمَتَهٗ وَيَخَافُوۡنَ عَذَابَهٗؕ اِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ كَانَ مَحۡذُوۡرًا ﴿17:57﴾ (17:56) Tell them: "Call upon those whom you fancy to be (your helpers) instead of Him! They have no power to remove any affliction from you, nor can they shift it (to any other)."64 (17:57) Those whom they call upon are themselves seeking the means of access to their Lord, each trying to be nearer to Him. They crave for His Mercy and dread His chastisement.65 Surely your Lord's punishment is to be feared.
It's simple mathematics that I have come to terms with the bigger picture what we are drawn towards desires in dunya is false illusion What we turn away from and get distracted from is the truth, slam is being targetd attacked defamed ISLAM CAN ONLY BE THE TRUTH LAAILAHA ILALAH MUHAMMAD RASUL ALLAH ALHAMDULILLAH ALLAH AKBAR
But you never told us what happened to the Jinn who had been doing mischief in your house. Did the weird happenings stop soon thereafter or did you leave the house or what?
