Hello. Thanks for your video/review. This Auto World 1971 Dodge Charger has much more details then I first thought. I don't knew about the working/spinning driveshaft. At the moment I sell some of my older ERTL muscle car models (basic models). Because of your video I bought now this 1971 Charger from Auto World. Thanks, man. Awesome features: + seatbelts + nice exhaust tips + functional suspension + spinning driveshaft + an awesome engine with much details and an working air grabber + amazing paint job Maybe the best 1:18 Auto World model I have seen so far. Today I also ordered the 1:18 ACME 1970 Pontiac GTO Coupe "Moonlight GOAT". An expensive month so far for me :) The more I see these original muscle cars, the more I dislike the new cars. With an old school muscle car you can't go wrong. Best regards Chris from Germany
Oh yeah. Just so you know, Ertl had a very detailed line called "Authentics"! These are the ones that had the best features such as the ones you are listing. AutoWorld owns all of the Ertl tooling including the Authentics. 1970s, 1971 Chargers are Authentics so, yeah, pretty cool. I have more reviews of these. There are other Authentics releases. For the money, they are great even though they are old tooling. Not perfect, but hardly any model is. Enjoy this very expensive hobby lol
@@DiecastNewb Oh yes. This Auto World Charger can stand against the ACME/GMP models. Thanks for the info. Today I received my 1:18 Auto World Dodge Charger (1971). The blue on this one is in the sunshine so beautiful with all the black stripes and so on. And a very unique interior in blue. My model has the same issues with the door on the drivers side. It dosen't fit perfect. Beside of this fact everything is really fine. Auto World should produce more 1:18 muscle cars like this one (details + features). Have a nice day
@@chrisflorian4308 glad you liked it! And yeah, you should find quite a lot of "Authentics" out there. There are a couple of recent and upcoming releases such as: www.autoworldstore.com/products/american-muscle-1966-dodge-charger-hardtop-mcacn-1-18-scale-diecast?_pos=55&_sid=c5f292a03&_ss=r www.autoworldstore.com/products/pre-order-american-muscle-1971-dodge-charger-r-t-mcacn-1-18-scale-diecast-due-august-2024?_pos=95&_sid=c5f292a03&_ss=r That you can check out of keep a look out. Thanks.
@@DiecastNewb Thanks for your help. The 1966 Dodge Charger looks really nice from Auto World. The details on the engine are amazing from the pictures. I really didn't think about the year 1966 of the Dodge Charger. A badass car with the Hemi.
I HAD PURCHASED THIS CAR AND I HAVE IT ON A SHELF OUTSIDE THE BOX. IT WAS A GREAT LOOKING CAR AND THE PRICE WAS NOT TOO HIGH COMPARED TO THE OTHER 71 CHARGERS I SAW ON THE SITE. 😊
I loved the model, this misalignment on the left door is annoying, but it happens. I'm about to get a green 1970 R/T Charger just like the one you showed me a while ago.
It's a great details with only one minus, there's no AC compressor on the engine bay meanwhile there's AC vent on the dashboard, unlike your previous 1971 blue charger with ertl cast. There's a very small hole 7:05 that probably to attached AC compressor on orange engine block.
