I like the push button shifter it does give more room and anytime you add something new to a vehicle some will complain but some will like it beautiful suv
I have to give it credit, this little thing holds its own off road. I took a rental to Castle Rock, KS not knowing the trails were quite as difficult as they were and the Terrain made it out (albeit barely).
I really enjoy my 2015 GMC Terrain AWD SLT-2.. Mine has the v-6 engine and the 5sp transmission... I recently put All Terrain Tires Falklen Wildpeak... I really like the tires no road noise...
Why don't ya try taking the luggage rack off that's what is probably whats whistling. I've never heard a whistle out of mine. You might need a minivan for kids or get an Arcadia, or maybe a Yukon
I rented both Equinox and Terrain before I decided to purchase. I can tell you that the GMC is a better overall all package and it's the premium version of the two. So it depends on the person buying, I prefer the GMC over the Chevy. I commute every day and my ride is my personal escape capsule. The Chevy Premiere Equinox and the GMC Terrain Denali are not far apart price wise with all the options I like.
