Really? G-Wagon, BMW X5, X6, X7, Range Rover, Volvo XC90 do you want me to keep going? Durango is a piece of plastic nothing more. Americans can't make good quality cars.
New sub here...but some of my favorite guys are Savagegeese, Saabkyle04, Autovlog, and Mikescarinfo...and you, sir, did an excellent job with this video. Good format, good content, and good information. Happy to be here and look forward to more videos! Great job dude!
Thank you for the positive feedback Mike! I've been working to fine tune my format and make the content more "personal" and it's reassuring to hear my viewers are enjoying it. As you know, there are many great creators on RU-vid and I have to say Savagegeese and TheStraightPipes are my personal favorites. Thanks again!
Dj Kamikaze I believe you. My mom owns a 2013 with 125k miles and that thing is still surprisingly smooth. Most cars start to vibrate, clunk and make noise after 100k.
If you fold the third row seat down you can move take that privacy thing and move it farther in the cab and there’s hook ups for that in there and that will cover it If you have groceries or something you were trying to conceal. It’s not just for behind the third row, It is for behind the second row also
I got a 19 rt with the black top package, the only thing that bothers the hell out of me is that dodge didnt black out the word dodge on the rear tail light but every other emblem is, drives me nuts
Very funny. I just purchased a 2019 & the first thing my daughter said was that, in some pictures, it looks like a hearse. lol I love the look of it. I'm having it undercoated, so I haven't even driven it yet, but I loved sitting in it. Ha Ha! I am looking forward to driving it. Thanks also to the person making this very good video.
Got the 2018 GT, wish I could afford the R/T and V8 engine but I still love mine to death! It’s redline red with the performance hood and blacktop package, looks mean!
Great review again. The styling on Durangos keeps getting better. How are you liking your Ram 1500 with the E-torque? I'm curious about you observed mpg. Any issues?
Also, they look like crap after a while. All the little debris from the road smashing the coating making it look like a porcelain old cracked vase. Bad idea if u go for esthetics.
Today is Aug 1, 2021..I am going to purchase a Durango..liking the 2019. What would be best is to have stow and go seats! Why not? I couldn’t tell from the video if this has cooled seats. As for tan interior..so far the Durangos I have looked at are mostly black interior..in my opinion..you want to make a vehicle look cheap..have a black interior. Also I find that color suffocating. We need more vehicles with lighter colored interior. Great review. Thanks.
We have a 2015 Durango limited and its the same on the inside except foe the gear and the extra knob thing this one has. Ours has the Turn knob gear thing he was explaining and I find nothing wrong with it. Ours has plenty of power even not being an RT
Beautiful vehicle. I used to have a Dodge Avenger 2011 MainStreet. Loved it. Except for the part where the engine had that rattle noise after 10k miles on it. And the dealer didn’t know what it was. Ugh
I have a 2017 rt white blacktop i love my backup camera looks more clear from the video here love the beats by dre i don't use the 3rd seat so i fold them down n put the cover longer i did have issues with my car here n there but i still love it hauls ass its fast n smooth
My dream car idc if it’s not the SRT I just like the way durango looks 💯💯 where I’m from it’s small state I’ll race anybody with it as long as it’s 700HP
Thinking about checking this vehicle out. I'm 6' 9" and I've heard that this has a lot of head and leg room. I have a 2015 Grand Caravan and I like the room and overall ride and space. For my second car though I want something more fun and sporty.
@Monroe cool. Like I said I have a 2015 Caravan and room wise it's great. Looks like the Durango has the same specs for head and leg room so I'll be checking it out maybe late next year. My 1999 Chevy Lumina is starting to not be worth it as far as getting it repaired when something break on it.
I totally agree with you on that side rear end corners looking bloated( it looks minivan-ish)...I have always said that and one of the reasons i like Yukon/Tahoe design a little bit better.
Do have a question. After a dealer service, my walk up unlock feature on my key fobs stopped working. Key fobs work, just this feature stopped working. Called dealer and gave me instructions on restoring this feature, but my on screen settings page did not show those same options. Any suggestions???
Yeah shifter was important but your right since 2011 they just add the UConnect and that’s basically it interior is shaped the same way all these years
@@rochellemartinez1255 my 4th child was just born and Ive had to trade in my kia stinger gt. I had a challenger, Camaro and a mustang. I just traded my 5 seat sedan in for a 6 seat srt durango and I love it. It drives like a bigger charger from what I've heard.
I have the same gripe with the lower rear corners!! They are too rounddd and look especially bad in the white Durango. They need to be more squared off to match the strong stance of the vehicle.
Our 2014 has been amazing love it so much getting a 18 or 19 RT! Our 14 has 140k miles been to FL every summer for the last 6 7 summers been hard miles it’s still running smooth been super great a workhorse
Great question. Here in Chicago, while I never really had a problem driving a FWD car even in 2+ feet of snow, RWD, I am just not use to it in that much snow.
I have a 2016 dodge Durango citadel, AWD Hemi. I live in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and it is very steep and hilly around where I live. The Durango goes very good, stops good, just an all-around good vehicle.
andrew g I own a 2018 Durango R/T in Michigan and I get about 16MPG in winter, 18 in the summer. Not great, but is sooo worth it. I have no regrets and if you get it, you will love it.
Here's my totally Unbiased Opinion. 1. I wish the Durango was just about 3" shorter as its really a long SUV at 201". 2. I wish they didn't shove that stupid 3rd row of seating down your throat. Yes, I know you can fold them away but at the end of the day you are paying for something that you really DON'T WANT PLUS THE EXTRA WEIGHT WHICH HURTS THE GAS MILEAGE AS WELL. Just my true feelings. Other than that I do like the vehichle and I do have one on order as well.
Sad after watching for 30min there was very little covering the cargo space. The #1 feature of the Durango vs the Grand Cherokee is the 84cuft cargo space vs GC's 68. Fold down ALL seats when demonstrating cargo space please! Like you, I have no kids so I dont care about sill plates and captains chairs, all I want is the maximum space possible for our FUR BABIES in back. Lest anyone forget: pets > people Everyone on every channel goes on and on about the same stuff...technology, features, etc but they all skip the main point of a big SUV: SPACE FOR PEOPLE and SPACE FOR STUFF and SPACE FOR PETS! All are equally important to buyers. A family of 4 is likely to have a dog at least. Also, you didn't mention the seat ventilation option. I saw it on the screen but the seats didn't look perforated?
Need to fact check yourself. There are plenty of SUVs faster than the R/T but the Ford Ex. Sport is not one. It loses by 0.1 seconds going 0-60 carrying 2 less passengers.
I want this so so so bad, but I don't trust my husband enough to drive safely with my babies. Him driving both my Chargers proved my point so I decided to get the base model Durango lol. He still gets upset that we didnt get this one
Uh, what? FCA stands for "Fiat Chrysler Automobiles"...Dodge is one of several brands that falls under FCA en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_Chrysler_Automobiles
FWIW, I think leather interiors are retrograde and inhumane. A replacement for horses shouldn't be draped with the skins ripped from innocent animals. Should use vegan leather, canvas, hemp, plastic, even, aircraft aluminum.
