We can all agree that it’s a beautiful looking car eh? The Dashing costs $29,900 incl. VAT and I’m genuinely happy with the build quality and features for under 30 grand! It’s also selling like hot cakes in the UAE. Does it like a Lamborghini Urus, maybe? Jetour is selling 1 trim level for the Dashing.
I guess you’re noticing recently that big Korean or Japanese brands offer much less technology and feel-nice cabins at the same price. The Chinese are making European-level of luxury accessible at a much lower price tag than anyone else. We have a HUGE Tesla-like screen that I enjoyed using, it’s a quick system. Seats feel SO good and the cabin is filled with soft touch material. Bravo Jetour👏🏼
Reliability records aren’t impressive however and it may be disappointing when it decides not to function properly. Only time will tell how Jetour eventually proves itself in the market.
In terms of driving dynamics, it handled superbly well! I WISH THE POWERTRAIN WAS MORE EXCITING UGH. We have a fuel-efficient 1.6 turbocharged 4 pot with 197 PS and 290 N.m of torque. It unfortunately doesn’t match the looks which is a shame because it handles amazingly well through bends for a crossover. It’s not energetic.
