I sat down and was very exited to build this drone however i was very disappointed after i released few things. Please have a look and let me know your opinion... am i wrong?
Great video thank You for your honest opinion I was considering to buy this frame but after your feedback im not anymore 😅 Maybe this frame is for those who fly only freestyle, 5-inch Apex lovers, persons who are not much into LR (long range), but still looking for something different to fly rather than a 5-inch, to get some fun and a different experience. Those users form my experience are not much in to building quads they just want to fly not exactly far forom home point. Just trying to find some positive aspects
The Apex LR EVO was my first 7" build. It is not a great 7" frame. Its a great 5" frame with longer arms, but no reinforcement points for bigger motors/props. Its a shame because it is a beautiful frame. After spending about 3 months trying to tune out all the vibrations, I built a Rekon7HD and a Speedybee Mario 8 Fold, both much much easier to tune and fly much better. I now basically fly the apex like a freestyle bird, until I demolish it, that is. lol. Either that or if I can ever find 5" dead at arms in stock, I may just buy those and turn it into yet another 5" freestyle bird.
Update: I did buy 5 inch arms for the front and 6 inch arms for the rear. I threw on some 2207s and all the problems I had with the 7 inch variant have disappeared! It really is a phenomenal 5 inch bird, but it was terrible as a 7 inch.
@@MonstaFPV There are not that much 7 inch frames on the market. Dont find aos frames great but aos 7 seems pretty nice it has lots of room, great resonance characteristics and does not have props in view too.
hey Sos thanks heaps... Yeah i checked all that it's defiantly a deadcat.. i flew few DC frames and it's a common thing that you see a bit of the prop in the view
