Thanks to JT Splatmaster for the sample! Picked this up at PSP Chicago, 2013. This is the z300 Sniper rifle from JT Splatmaster, and the marker is a lot of fun. It can hit 100' flat, and even more angled. I set up some cones on the ground, and measured the distances out. The dumpster is about 100' away, and you'll see I hit it. Listen for the impacts, they're there.
Not to worry, I'll post a follow up video response with some higher standing targets soon (I didn't have anything handy really when I made this video and was pressed for time.)
Statistics:
* Price: approx. $49.99
* Available: Now, varies by location
* Range: approx. 100' (flat, not angled)
* Priming Mech: Side-lever arm, mimics a bolt-action feel of sorts
* Capacity: 15 Splatmaster .50 paintball rounds
* Loading: Breech-loaded, through an opening on the top of the marker.
* FPS: Approx. 140, but may shoot higher.
* Attachments: Tac rails on top and bottom (perfect fit for picatinny mounts, I have used a GoPro mount), removable and adjustable stock. Stock has a spot to attach a sling/bandolier.
* Barrel plug is included.
At the end of the video is some game play footage trading shots with Thomas Taylor of XSV Paintball, thanks to him for taking some time to help me demo! Full review is up at the blog - foamfromaboveDOTblogspotDOTcom.
