Worth noting that although probably not fit for purpose the holes in the filter baffle are approx 12-12.5mm for use with actual bullets, and the holes in the Weihrauch baffles are just over 7mm. This makes a massive difference.
Look at the size of the holes , it's obviously meant for a firearm, the airgun version has individual cone baffles and needs a 7mm hole for .22 hardly surprising it did not make much difference .
Yes it's the 1/2" unf , the internals are vastly different to the Weihrauch tho, and while the DB meter doesn't show a huge difference between the 2 - the Weihrauch is the better silencer. But for the money the AliExpress is a nice cheap option :) Btw the Kral silencers are pretty good too ;)
Don’t know what’s going on with this test, but the weihrauch silencer is a rip off. Bit of aluminium tube and some hair rollers and felt. I have a Chinese fuel filter as in this vid and it’s 8 db quieter than the German crap.
