FineWoven is not a replacement for their leather cases. It's a worse product for the same price and it disintegrates much faster than the leather cases did.

I have the black leather case and I don’t know if I’m supposed to oil it, but it’s got knicks and tears so leather isn’t all that either.

@@CenobiteBeldarNicks and tears are normal. Fine Woven cases appear to totally disintegrate.

@@DrMacintosh I’ll just stick with the plastic see through cases like the Otterbox or Apple. The solid color cases don’t match the phone and the clear cases show off the phone’s unique color.

I had mine replaced as it peeled on the top and so far the second one is ok but I’m sure it will peel again.

Yep same thing with my case. I really like the feel of the case. But the peeling does make it look bad.

One thing I really like about the fine woven case is the increased friction. My wallet doesn’t spin or slide at all compared to every leather case I’ve tried and I tried quite a few. I ended up returning them bc I could if get over the wallet spin.

When I look for a good phone case I check to see how durable it is will it last for a long period of time without slowly falling apart when you have to take it off stuff like that

I’m hoping that they pull the fine woven case and replace it with a range of plant-based cases such as: cactus leather cases or cases made from a durable bamboo material etc.

Mine has just started to have its plastic seal/film peel off around the edges, despite only being used for 2 months.

@@josephpepe2607 well I do live in an area where it gets to 45°C 😂 🥵 🔥 So I suppose it might be related to the material’s exposure to heat and then contracting when it cools, and cycling through this.

People confusing shameful disintegration with leather’s patina lol. Even $5 TPU plastic cases don’t “smooth out kinda I guess like a leather case” in a few months like that. 🤦‍♂️

" The wear looks good "? Sorry, but the Apple cases are more fragile than the phone itself... This doesn't mean they wont protect the phone, but there are way more durable cases on the market which they will provide the same amount of protection if not better at a much lower price.

I don't see how people's cases like this have been damaged without basically throwing their phone into a woodchipper. These cases are about 50 times more durable than the leather cases that would self destruct in 6 months.

I just took a toothbrush and dawn dish soap to my mulberry case and wallet today and it looks great. Had mine since day one but I’ll agree with most people leather would have been nicer
