My final thoughts and review of the JourneyMESH Cargo Pocket Chest Rig from Atlas46. This chest rig is by far better than I ever imagined. I don't think I could go back to not wearing one. My pencils, tape measure, 2 squares, torpedo level, and so much more are right at my finger tips all the time. This apron definitely takes best in class in usability and customization. The ability to add on items as you see fit for your different uses or jobs is awesome. You can change it up anytime you want thanks to the AIMS system and other add ons. Atlas46 also backs their product by a lifetime guarantee and allows you to try their products for 46 days with the ability to return them for a full refund if you are not completely satisfied. You can find my full write up on my website in the blog in the next couple days.

So dope 🔥🔥. Already have their tool belt with suspenders now looking to grab a vest. Thanks for the much needed deep dive review!!

I ordered one as well as a couple of add-ons. One was a magnetic bit holder. It showed up way before the vest. The vest finally showed up a couple of days ago and I could not figure out what the two pieces were all about (magnetic holder)! Your video showed me and I was like, "Oh, I get it now!", ha, ha. Excellent review. Thank you.

Great setup! Just ordered mine and am going to set it up almost identical to yours. I do finish carpentry, and because of the belt on my tool bag I have pinched a nerve in my waist which causes the outside of my leg to go numb. Hopefully this rig will eliminate the discomfort. Thanks for the video it gave me the motivation to purchase this setup.

Great review. I'm trying to decide between the journeymesh and the journeymen. Same rig except one has mesh (yours) and the journeymen does not have mesh. I'm concerned about the durability of the mesh material.

Eddie, I can say that the mesh on mine is quality. It's very thick mesh and has a rugged feel to it. I had the same concerns, but after using the mesh version and having a little extra ventilation I really enjoy the mesh and don't see any reason for my usage to use one without the mesh. By far the best tool accessories I've ever had.

Thanks for the video and in-depth review. Can you let us know what height /weight you are so we can have a reference for the size of the vest. Thanks and all the best. 👍🏼

Sorry for the delay. I am 5'11" and between 165-170lbs. This particular item is an adjustable one size fits all. The zip up vest does have actual sizes to pick from.

@@reisenbergswoodworking7760 I did go ahead and get the apron, we are the same size thx. I'm still setting mine setup for bending at hips, which isn't ideal yet

@@Pax604 That's awesome. Congrats. Most of my work is waist height or about so I don't do to much bending but I have notices over time the more rigid or non flexible items I have in my pocket the hard it is to bend at the knees. I did tighten my middle back strap to hold the rig up higher to make it a little easies. Mostly it depends on how high you where it and wat you keep your pockets in my opinion.
