If you treat them with respect and equally as you would anybody else how is that homophobic? I don't trust Aubrey or the twins. All of a sudden they start being productive and peacemakers once they find out there will be a "Queen" in the house. The vision board was cute, but I just don't trust her. Now that doesn't take away from Kiely doing a less than nothing.
Cudo to Pam telling her truth and being honest to the women about her past and her boundaries. Pam just let the ladies know where she coming from. At least she explained it to Aubrey face instead of behind her back. Aubrey was embarrassed and didn’t receive it well but she said she got in front of Pam but when she walked out 3 women had something to say but didn’t say it to Pam in the moment it was being discussed.
It amazes me that folks are encouraged to speak their truth until it is not popular or others don't agree. If Pam wants maintain an image that's her right. I'm gonna have to disagree with you on the Aubrey thing. While her vision board idea was cute, she's still FOS! Her whole plan last episode and for most of this episode was to divide the group. The same people who you chose for a group are the same ones she did. She left the others who she felt couldn't sing good enough or dance well enough and she didn't care how they felt. She WAS being divisive so there isn't any way around it. When she came with the vision board, she said that she was sick of the divide and the arguing BUT she was the reason why those two things happened in the first place! She divided the group. Feelings got hurt so there in lies the arguments. She sat there and lied about this vision board, that showed unity, being her mission all along and, it really wasn't. It was Keily's idea and that is why Keily saw straight through the BS..and that's why she was sarcastic! If anyone was REALLY peeping what was said in that Queen meeting, they would see that Aubrey stole the idea, which she put on the vision board, from Fallon! When Fallon was going in on LaMeisha she specifically asked her what she was good at because she wanted everyone to find what they are good at in the group so that they can shine. That is all she wanted. Aubrey took that, ran, cut out some pics, and made a vision board. She just wanted to ONE UP Keily and this was her way of doing it (she even said it!). (P.S. Keily said in the confessionals that Aubrey is doing the job she's being paid to do....so she's actually being paid to be a Creative Director - whether they want her to be one or not.)
@@masseiy I never said she has creatively directed anything, thus far, in the house. I said she was there to be a Creative Director. The main problem is that they don't respect her enough or value her opinion to let that happen. According to what she said last week (in an IG live that she did), she does that (Artist Development, Creative Direction, and what not) as her way to make money (currently). She's been doing that for years.

This episode reminded me why I didn't like Aubrey! She was the reason why there was a divide in the first place so, i'm not understanding why she is preaching the unified front as if that was her intention before (She did the same in Danity Kane). It was not her idea - even as she heard Nivea's voice in the booth. It was Keily's but Aubrey is trying to turn everyone against her because she doesn't want Keily to be above her, in the role as Creative Director (which she is being paid to be).

I think the 702 sisters could sing back in the day harmonies in the background… but another RU-vidr pointed out one of the sisters had cigarettes when on the phone. I think smoking ruin those vocals…. 😒 that’s what years of neglect does to the vocal chords.

Hey Rodney, Lemisha and Irish were the harmony of 702 while Meelah sang lead. Aubrey is the sneaky quiet Aquarius and the queen of reality shows compared to the girls.
It would be an interesting scene if they practiced singing different harmonies. Some people are great lead singer, but can't find a harmony it it smacked them in the face.

In just this episode alone, there was so much going on that it's hard to go against anyone entirely, especially when they make an accurate point. I'm not here for the Cherish twins, Kiely nor Aubrey but I'm not mad with the shade/read delivery to Kiely because it was true what she said. At the same time, I felt like the twins were trying to shift blame from them to Kiely during that court session. Although Aubrey presented something good for the group, I believe Aubrey did it to prove a point and to, low-key, throw shade in Kiely's direction about not doing s&!t. I agree Kiely definitely is a white woman, who thinks so highly of herself and makes herself feel more important/relevant than what she truly is, probably the reason why 3LW and Cheetah Girls broke up. I know she was the main reason behind 3LW's destruction but would not be surprise she was the reason behind the Cheetah Girls as well. I don't think Pam is homophobic. I think that her explanation/situation was a "It's not what you say but how you say it" situation.
I agree with you about Aubry. I think some of the women have a different mentality than others about this process. I feel the twins and Aubry think that a group can work in real life given the right circumstances and they want to cut who they deem as weak links. The other ladies just want to have fun and gain exposure in the process. I get where the twins and Aubry may be coming from but it just comes across as rude, mean and abrasive.

So I was in a similar situation as Lemisha in that I walked into a restaurant and I over heard someone talking about me. So instead of going back and talking to other people about it I walked up to the person that was talking about me and said “Hi, what are you discussing?” you would have thought they saw a ghost. It was a white woman talking about me ( im a black woman) to another white woman cause she was mad that I did not introduce her to my fiancés black male friends. I later learned that she had been harboring feelings against me because I wasn’t interested in being her friend. This happened while I was serving in the Peace Corps and I was not there to make friends especially with some racist/random white woman.
I did not think nothing of Aubry's hand on Pam. I think Pam knows everyone thought she was a lesbian (I sure thought she was) and she did admit she was involved with a woman. I think that now she is Christian, based on her beliefs she does not want to be associated with that anymore. I don't think Pam is hemophobic.

There are literally dozens of RU-vid vocal coaches. Lamiesha and Irish need to put down the cigarettes and alcohol and start practicing vocal exercises. You can kind of hear a sliver of their old voices when they sing. Were they powerhouses? No. But if they try they can give some good harmonies and background vocals.

The 702 singers can sing. If u listen carefully u can hear it,they only need fine tuning..check out the essence festival ,they were singing live and the lead.

I'mma be honest (just like you!) For having such trash vocals, Irish and LaMeisha (the latter most often) were VERY VOCAL this episode and I didn't like it! I wanted LaMeisha to stop eavesdropping, get in that damn booth, and go practice! It's very aggravating for me to watch Irish, at least, try and practice dancing when all LaMeisha doing is standing by doorways listening to other people conversation! GO IN THE BOOTH! Do some vocal exercises! Every time she was in the confessionals, she was talking about Keily! She ain't tired of listening to them saying her voice is trash? Shouldn't that be motivation to prove people wrong? My way of thinking must be way off cause all of the tears wasn't moving me AT ALL. She should have just went home.

The twins are here to work and you can tell Meisha and Irish are here to get by, and like you said, if they know they’re vocals arent up to par, seek help, but instead they have this inflated ego as well, which makes them(mainly meisha) resistant to help because she’s a “legend”. Hell, ask Shamari to help out with some vocal exercises since they dont feel comfortable with the twins. They give me very much lazy

She seemed to be thankful for the help but then got in the confessional and said she was singing before her so she got this. Um...obviously not cause she had to come and help you! She went IN on Keily (I was so confused as to what Keily did to her) and then turned around (in her one on one scene) talking about they shouldn't be tearing down each other cause they all got stuff going on. Like...bish what? Your voice is trash and you going hard on someone cause you don't know what role they playing in a group? I feel like Pam is homophobic. It is internalized homophobia but still. Her homophobia was covert and not overt. When Kiely called her out for the homophobic comments she basically said The Bible says a man should not lay with another man and the same with women and I stand by it. Which basically means I do not agree with who gay people are. If I were to say yeah I’m going to heaven, she would say no because THE BIBLE yadiyada. And I also would say it was very disparaging that the girls had a lot to say in the studio but in the meeting they were quiet. They probably would have stayed quiet if she said that to their gay friends too smh
