It maybe your battery sulfated. In this case manual charger only work well to desulfate, automatic charger fail to work.

It is because of low voltage on battery, the battery charger sense wrong (6v battery). You have to connect good 12v battery in parallel with your dead battery and connect this charger when the charger sense 12v then remove good battery and let the old battery charge alone. This is the problem of fully automatic battery charger but it happens only if the battery is completely drained or if the battery is in bad condition like 1 or more cell death happens.

Your battery drained fully and bosch charger detecting 6v battery. It also causes poor connection, so clean battery terminals and also check the charger clip. If the problem is still exists, then if you have any other 12v battery then connect + to + and - to - in parallel with dead battery, doing this with good battery can raise your dead battery voltage and charger detect the correct voltage. This problem also causes if the battery is heavily sulfated or anyone or more cells dead, you have replace the battery if this is the problem.

My charger is indian made and i think your charger is different and i am not familiar with that😕.

It can't charge completely dead battery, if you have any other good 12v battery then connect +ve to +ve and -ve to -ve 10min or less then connect c3 charger then only it can detect the voltage. When connecting both batteries in parallel makesure battery is not getting too hot it's not that safe to do so, don't connect and leave. it is like we jump starting the car you have to watch carefully. Bosch c3 charger can charge fully drain batteries but not all battery, it's like condition of the battery if the battery is new then chance is higher. If the battery is heavily sulfated or any dead cells the charger goes to trickle charging mode or doesn't charge

Both take 12 hours to full charge the battery, if it fully drain. This is the safe charging for lead acid batteries. Lead acid battery should be charged less than 10% of it's capacity, so if your battery is 35AH then you need to charge it in 3.5 A. I hope you got it 🙂

That's the problem with fully automatic charger, it detect below 12v and charger think it is a 6v battery. Try to connect another 12v battery in parallel so the charger detect 12v and then start changing. After the charger start to charger then remove the good battery and let the bad battery charge.

You can't get any Spare clip in this quality, but you can buy and fit the clip which is not good looking and better quality than this c3 charger clip. My c3 is 2 years old and it is still working without any problems, the clip also in good condition.

Get the Bosch C7 charger then, slightly more expensive. Can revive dead batteries.

Leave is charging at 6V for an hour and let it re-detect it...normally it sees it as a 12V motorcycle....then push mode again and it should switch to Car. Then just let it charge for around 12 hours.
