Juan, I discovered this review through the latest episode of the wonderful AM Podcast that you Guys did. The review is very extensive therefore I'm surprised why it isn't in RU-vid's primary suggestion list and received a lot less views that it should have. I also didn't see it as a suggestion, when I searched for A6500 reviews in YT prior to my purchase. If it hadn't been for listening to the AM Podcast, I may not have discovered this at all! Thanks a lot and hoping to see more from you.
Very helpful presentation. I've had the A6000 for two years, and very happy with it. And, with adaptors, have used a Canon 70-200 2.8 IS II as well as a Sigma 24-70 2.8. Frankly, though I can use them, they're so much larger and heavier, it's rare. I have over the last couple of years picked up the kit lenses, as well as the Sigma 19mm 2.8, Sony 10-18, and several other specialty lens. Since I need a second body for an upcoming event, I'm thinking perhaps of renting and saving a bit more for the 6500, as your presentation is quite compelling....Thanks for the comparison and overview!
Nice in depth review. Bottom line though, is the touch screen & image stabilization and other smaller changes worth the extra £600.00?? I can't make my mind up. I have never had a touch screen on a camera so doubt I would miss not having one, plus the IBIS is never going to replace a proper stabiliser for video and is therefore only useful for photo but again you don't need it if your shutter speed is high enough and you have stabilised lenses.
thanks for the stuff shared. Would you please shed some light about low light performance of the A6500 compared to the other 2s? thanks again and Happy New Year.
Question, hope you can help. I Just purchased Sony a6500, and I'm trying to decide between the Zeiss 25mm f/2 or the 55mm f/1.8 for best all round lens. I can only choose 1, any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
From the moment there are no lenses, why the comparison? Buying canon, sigma and after a year sell everything for half a price! Better stay without a camera for a year and buy a camera which has lenses and the support of the company. Sony doesn't even know what she want to do with the aps-c system. Many say that maybe she will leave it.
