@@Helectronics 👍😄. Anyway.. i leave this to u and some speaker experts to review it.. And suddenly i got some idea for your new video.anytime when u run out new video .. To using this device to review some speaker. For a d.i.y Bluetooth speaker or boom box or acoustic one that u can recommend. From various prices and sound quality..what space it need,etc.something like that. Anyway. This just a humour suggestion..don't have to take it seriously if u want to..😆

Halo. I have a question, for rub and buzz, do i need 2 identical speakers? Also how to determine mass weight? I tried 2 different weight, the result has a lot of difference. thanks

Hi, rub and buzz test is for mass production of speakers. So you measure one which you think is the most ideal and then it compares the rest to it. What do you mean by mass weight? Are you referring to the M(ms) or the added weight? I use a digital scale to measure the added weight.

With the rub and buzz tests, is it possible to store traces for known "good" speakers to reference against without having to have the original driver present for each test? i.e. create a library of drivers known good used in cabinets and be able to test suspicious drivers as required.

@@Helectronics Also interesting to know how to measure full range drivers with "bullet" in the middle please. Some recomendations how to find perfect tweeter/woofer please .

Unfortunately I don't have that kind of speaker to measure, if I get one I will include it in a video. It hard to find a perfect tweeter/woofer, it is more important to build an adequate box for them using measured parameters.

Yes, and there is a setting where you can set to show the measured inductance at 10kHz instead of 1kHz.

It seems your piston diameter measures 160mm, but in the piston area box of the software i see you tpyed 52* , very confusing. How do you get that 52* ?

That's a really good observation, when I've measured the diameter of the piston with the ruler, I've used a bigger speaker (8 inch sub) so it was easier to demonstrate how to measure the speaker piston diameter. I've written 52 because with the DATS I've measured the Aiyima full range 2.75 inch speaker. The * symbol was accidentally written. Thank you for watching and mentioning this mistake.
