i really like the way you express your opinion. at first sight,you might seem agressive ,but its not that at all!! i feel like i'm with my bestie talking about cosmetics and stuff whenever i see your videos. i dont think its a dupe either. or a holy grail (!)

I can always count on you being honest! I watch your reviews even for products I already own and while our tastes may be different, you always point out the not so good stuff (if there is)! I love it! To this date your one of the veeery few YT who mentioned the horrible texture of some of JS Skin Frosts etc. There are literally 50 other instances where you haven't tried to play down problems with the products & co. I think the comparison stems from giving people another option when buying concealers that are similar to shape tape so we don't support tarte anymore due to the poor foundation range they've come out with. I agree that it is not as full coverage as the shape tape but for £4, I really don't mind however I will definitely miss the finish of the shape tape once it runs out and I stop repurchasing it. I'd rather give my money to brands that actually try rather than support a brand that sells America's top selling concealer but can't come out with more than 2-3 foundation shades for medium to dark skintones. I think Makeup Revolution are coming out with more shades in March too so hopefully more people will find their skintones.

I'm medium tan yellow toned in my skin colour. l found C12 too pink on my skin. I looked like l had been tangoed!. The current shade range for yellow toned skin isn't ideal but mur are extending their shades in March

I hardly comment on videos but I really need to on this one!!!! I love your review!!! I have heard so many people comparing it to tarte shape tape and I feel like it's nothing like it. I thought i was going mad or i was "doing it wrong" 😂 it is worth the price but it really creases alot on me eventually as the day goes on and doesn't cover my circles as much as I'd want xx

do you reckon there's a rule of thumb for how many shades darker you should go for, for a contour shade? Can't relate to your shades unfortunately coz I'm pale af

I agree with you on copying other youtubers. Just because one person compared it to the taste shape tape concealer doesn’t mean everyone else has to do it. In all honesty I own both and I also don’t feel it has near the coverage of the tarte shape tape.

every youtuber was comparing this to the tarte shape tape and saying it was a dupe and then when they released a makeup tutorial there was NO mention on the makeup revolution concealer...absolute joke.....At least I can trust Shaleena's opinion.

Well have tried the Makeup Revolutions concealers and I DON"T like them. They do nothing but crease under my eyes and have tried all the tricks to stop this. I was so gutted :( Guess I am going to have to stick with the expensive Shapetape.

Christy Woods Alyssa with the perfect skin? Exactly! She doesn't even need coverage & has blemish free skin & barely any darkness under her eyes. You cannot tell on screen the texture of a product so it doesn't matter what you saw. Seeing is not feeling. It is not full coverage at all.

Christy Woods I'm confused. Are you saying that just because a bunch of other people copied each other or used it in a different way that I should be like a sheep & follow them? Sorry but no. That's not how I conduct myself. This is not a dupe for shape tape at all. The texture is totally different. You are telling me I'm wrong based on other people's 'experiences' without having tried it yourself. So maybe they are wrong & i am right? Actually I know I'm right 😁

Hi, I am close to nc42 with a lot of yellow and some green- I tried C11. It has a mildly peach undertone which makes it not good for matching most of my skin but worked really well under my eyes- better than shape tape. Shape tape Tan sand is too dark for under eye in winter and tan is too pink. Seems like a good new purchase!
