DYU came along and gave us a C6 DYU C6 26 Inch City Electric Bike to test for a bit. It is our first venture into electric bicycles, but this didn't stop us from giving it a good test! It is very good value and I was quite surprised, actually, by the quality. You get disc brakes front and rear, shocks in the forks, comfortable seat and easy controls.
The battery is 12Ah which gives a range of about 40 km, and 40-60 km on battery assist. The battery is under the seat, which gives good stability and it takes about three hours to charge up. The bike comes semi-assembled in a box, with all the tools you need to put it together - which is pretty easy. There's also a little basket for the front, and a bicycle lock and luggage rack included. All-in-all a good product for a good price in my opinion.
