This is my personal opinion on a recently purchased reproduction of a late 15th century bastard sword made by Arms & Armor, a manufacturer based in Minneapolis, MN, USA.

Center of gravity: 14.5 cm (5.7 in) from the guard
Blade material: 6150 high carbon steel, tempered to a hardness of about 50 HRC
Blade thickness: 4.4 mm near the guard, tapering to 3 mm at the tip
Hilt assembly: Peened
Price: 860 USD
** Pros / Cons **
+ Well made, sturdy hilt and blade
+ Good balance and handling overall, light weight
+ Beautiful guard, grip and pommel design
- Noticeable gap in the guard (considering the price range)
- The edge should be sharper
