You made me laugh with your excitement at "dark background for Darth to emerge from". You are awesome!! Wish I was your granddaughter but I'm 40 so.. a little bit too old for it!!! Thank you for this video, I just got these pencils and starting watercolour now... Let's see what I can do!!!

I have a set of 60 and use them for fine detail with my watercolors. I have yet to do a whole painting with them. Thanks for the tip about using a synthetic brush. Nice to see your Darth Vader come to life. Your grandson should be pleased.

I knew that Albrecht Durer pencils are break resistant but not immune to breakages sharpening it that way is risky and accidentally breaking the pencil lead makes me anxious. And BTW, shredded pigments from sharpening the pencils are reusable and can be kept if you have a tray

Haaaa! The best kept secret in movie making history … even kept from the actors themselves. 😊 I believe Star Wars was the first Dolby Surround Sound … It’s the second one made (The Empire Strikes Back) … Rebels on the run and the pure power music; The Emperor’s Theme. My favorite… I am very happy to see a review with the 12 set instead of the expensive billion pencil set. Most would buy the 12 or maybe the 24 just to try them out. For sharpening I use that TGAAL & only sharpen on 1 & 2. Too many sharpeners have eaten my pencils. Outstanding! Thank you.

Best. Comment. Ever. Hands down-thank you so much!! The first Dolby Surround Sound??? That is AWESOME and some trivia I did not know! I will lay that on the fam this week and they will be so impressed! 😳🤯😱🫨☠️😂😂😂 Ok I will have to look for your sharpener recommendation. It’s heartbreaking to see a beloved pencil get chewed up. Pretty sure that one was broken all the way through, but I’m always game for a good sharpener rec! Thanks again and have an awesome week!! Hi Vati! Thank you -glad you found this useful! In general, my top two sharpeners are the Afmat Manual Long Point and the Derwent. For these, I would suggest the Derwent because the long point created by the Afmat manual might be unnecessary for watercolor pencils. That said, the Electric Afmat Long Point has different lengths to choose from. Hi Elly! I have 2 that I really rely on in my studio & I’ll include affiliate links for you. The Afmat Long Point -this is the electric version: amzn.to/3vOEOWc and the Derwent Sharpener: amzn.to/3HqJBzP The Derwent seems to have increased in price. They have another similar model that’s less expensive, but I haven’t tried it: amzn.to/3SoTcxn Also the Afmat Long Point comes in a manual model.
